How important is the stabilizer bar disconnect?

My thinking is that I'll have to get out of the vehicle to air down the tires at the start of any serious trail anyway, so wouldn't that be a good time to manually disconnect the swaybar? I'd still prefer the electronic disconnect, of course, but a manual disconnect doesn't seem like it would be that much less convenient.

That is how most do it with both the manual links and the Rubi disconnect, since it cannot release under load, and sometimes not at all. The biggest issue with the manual hardware disconnects is keeping the bar end from falling into the CV boot and shredding it which happens a lot.

I am considering the disconnect, but really do not like all the cheese you must pile on to get it. Much like the 360 camera, 12" screen...
