Had to drive to Newberg OR over the weekend and I passed by a Ford dealership and saw a bunch of Broncos lining the street (6 of them). Was curious what they were going for so I checked out their site. Looks like a $10K ADM give or take for the typical ones and $25k for the Braptor. I bet if someone offered them MSRP on the last day of August they would take it for the non-Braptors. Sorry for the golf audio on the video :) I was listening to the Tour Championship.

and hopefully they'll still sit there...if people would quit paying this nonsense then dealers would quit charging it.

There will ALWAYS be ADM if people continue to tolerate / pay it. Why the hell is it so hard to say “NOPE” when you re looking or ordering.

As someone mentioned idiots or morons always around… people need to get more financial savvy and help stop the madness and it’s not just vehicles; Real Estate, recreational items, etc etc.

To me it just feels like so many folks are giving away the financial future of our country! At least take the approach of trying to leave the future liveable for our children, grandchildren, etc.

Rant over but there you have it.

MSRP jumped something like $7-13K in about a year (depending on how you look at it)............. Were the guys that paid $2K ADM then bigger idiots than the guys that are paying the extra $8K MSRP increase today?

I was just looking at 4xe Wranglers because they're the only kind on any dealer lots around here and I was curious as to why. There may be 1 or 2 ICE and 10-20 4xe. They just don't move, especially since the $7,500 rebate stopped. Saw a dealership in Houston with a "market adjustment" on all of theirs, while everyone else has theirs listed online with an automatic $4K-$5K under MSRP.

If any of us were truly financially savvy we wouldn't be on this forum! There's wants and needs and none of us truly needs a Bronco (ok, maybe the 1% that has to go to work uphill both ways thru a ravine in a blizzard).

Just look at all the guys who purchased Wildtrak's before 3.0 came out, they spent an extra $9k(?) for what about amounted to a sticker and a $1500 mid-package, a steep price for some vinyl decals.

I discussed this with my dealer the last time I was over there for something else. The way it works for them is if you order one you get it for MSRP when it finally shows up. If somebody bails out on an order they mark it up, but the markup is negotiable. If it's one that they ordered as a dealer - and since they put in an official Bronco Store they get to order more - then there is a bigger markup.

I've only ever had to deal with dealer markup twice. Once when the S2000 first came out and was in high demand, and once for my 2005 Mustang. It was easy with the Mustang, I told the dealer that I wasn't paying any markup and would be happy to fly 1000 miles away to get one at MSRP, so they dropped it. ;)

Dealer across the street from work has an 2 door Eruption Green OBX Sasquatch right now. Originally had an $8000 ADM but see they dropped it to MSRP after it's sat about 6 weeks so far.

that’s kinda what I figure will happen at this dealer. First, I can’t believe they have 6 of them on the lot. If they are sitting at the end of the month, I would think the GM would get more realistic about pricing and drop the ADM.
