I think my dealer has screwed me royally

So, back in March, the dealer called and told me that I got an allocation for a bronco! Right away, I noticed they put in the wrong trim for my order, which I let them know the exact same day. I never saw my reservation update online. I was assured "this is normal", "it will update". Others here also reported not seeing things update online, so I thought it was all fine. Nevertheless, I've been emailing the dealership about once every two weeks for updates on this.

Today, 16 email exchanges later, the dealer finally sent me a "preview order" form with the correct trim and configuration, which shows "priority 99".

To my understanding, this means that, while they've been telling me everything is fine, my order hasn't even been queued to be built.

I don't even know what this means for me now. Is there any chance of my Bronco being built? I'm hoping that my reservation timestamp will still give me some sort of priority...

The order was for a 4 door hard top Wildtrak, pretty loaded with options, but no 'late availability' options, according to the dealer order form. Reservation date was 09/16/2020 and conversion was 3/17

Just hoping this doesn't amount to a major delay.

Sounds like dealer BS - hard to be believe anyone would get March allocation for Wildtrak w 9/16 Res -

Hard top is most likely the hold up as those are needed first for FE's. You need to ask dealer why your at PC99 as that's a do not schedule for production code. Needs to be 10 through 19.

Your dealer has. Priority 99 means "Do Not Build" 4 door with a rag top has a shot at being built if your dealer changes the priority to anything under 20.

Finally some good news on this forum. And yeah priority code 99 pretty much means 2022 for your order.

99 means you’ll never be chosen by ford for a build. It’s a waiting queue. Only when the dealer moves it to I think 19 or lower will you be chosen to build

I'm a code 99 for 2023. Also, your reservation isn't super early. Did you have a MOD top on your order by any chance?

I hate stealerships. I wish we could just buy directly from the factory. Leave the stealership for used vehicle sales and order pick ups only.

yeah anything with constrained bits reserved after July '20 is likely going to be a MY22

It is amazing that every other day you see these types of post. There is so much info here that most can answer their own questions.

for example no way in hell a September 2020 reservation would get built in 2021. And on top of that a wildtrak which requires a hard top.

not only is this a long haul but then we have to be subjected to the same post about why my dealer is screwing me. Dealers are not screwing anyone. They would sell you a bronco if they had one.

I find myself looking at the thread count . If it is a low thread count then I just move on.

Yes. I hate the be the bearer of bad news but the odds of a 9/16 reservation for a wildtrak being built this year was close to zero even if your dealership hadn't set your status to 99. At the rate Ford is going they'll be lucky to get through the 1st day reservations for the higher optioned vehicles. The only way a 9/16 reservation would get a build this year would be if it's a soft top, and preferably low options without contrainted items.
