Do I qualify? Moms family moved here in the 1860's and dads family moved here in the 1880's.... So both sides of the family were here before statehood.
You definitely qualify as a member of the minority. The census of 2010? showed that natives are now a minority. My and my wife's family both came in the early 1900's. Farm families. Yours must have been miners or ranchers? I know that we all came from somewhere, it is just disheartening when over 40% are coming from one place and they want to make Idaho like where they came from.

Farmers on Moms side and dads side were merchant and sheriff up at the mines in North Idaho then one of the first wardens at the state pen.

Great pics. Gonna check out the video. I love Idaho and have been 3 different times to Stanley and the Sawtooths. One of my absolute favorite places on earth. I'll hopefully take my rig out there some day!

Way cool. We should just all be glad that we still can enjoy our state and we need to encourage all that do to please take care of it for future generations. Other states are losing areas like we have, not because of politics, but because too many have no respect for the land and trash it. It is surprising how much of Idaho is private but with ownership changes and people not taking care of it, more and more of it is being locked up. Let this be a lesson to people everywhere.

You are right about that... I really like what Boise Broncos is doing.... It is just some signage that many will not read but some will.... and others can point it out to the blind, not caring individuals....

Social pressure is amazing. It can work for you or against you. I think Boise Broncos is trying to move the needle in the right direction.

What I have seen from Boise Broncos leads me to believe that they are good representatives of our community. Props to them.

I think I am going to join here shortly.... Just got my Bronco this last weekend. Got it insured but still have to get plates for it. It got washed and waxed this last weekend as soon as I got it home but it has been in the garage ever since..... I am driving the work truck on the daily. Not prepared to go with them this weekend to the Sawtooths... But I know that valley well. Actually learned to dirve for the first time up there in a Jeep... that was a long long time ago.

I really enjoyed the Grand Canyon. I have made it to Idaho to my son’s house. My grandchildren love the Bronco. When I pulled into get gas, a gentleman asked me all about the Bronco. His wife is looking to buy one. A 2Dr Badlands pulled in and it was a Bronco love fest. The Bronco is running great. To be honest I am looking forward to receiving my @AdvFiberglass hard top next month. The canvas top is a bit noisy at 70 and 80 MPH combined with these western winds.

So much is happening with our public lands now more than ever that needs our attention and involvement. Bronco clubs can be a big part of this. Thanks for the comment and please keep me updated!

Where was this? I wasn't far from the sawtooths today in the Raptor...

For everyone else who reads this thread, Idaho sucks. Don't come here...
I have heard many folks from Idaho say it sucks, especially to the ones from CA.
