Our new IAG V2 steps arrived Wednesday. So, having the day off today I decided to go ahead and install them. At first I was having trouble installing them the way IAG intended, (they really restrict you in how you mount these) So, I had to think outside the box!
Here you see the high quality materials and impeccable workmanship. Although I'm not quite sure what the bracket/hook thingy's are for?
In this photo you see the high strength adhesive step mounting hardware I used. I recommend Duck tape brand. Gorilla tape is an acceptable alternative.
Here you see the step fully installed. Note: you will need a helping hand in this process as it is difficult to apply the high strength adhesive while holding the step!
In this photo you can see the step actually protrudes a little past the fender flares. Ya'll think it's gonna hang on a rock if we take this thing to Moab?
Here you can see the stainless logo plate goes well with the silver paint.
Here in this photo you see the step installed on an INFINITI Q50 rental car! Because.....
This is the actual Bronco the step would be mounted to, at the body shop waiting on bumper brackets.
I think this is worse than not having the Bronco at all.
