Ideally I would get the 2.7 with a manual and Sasquatch. The forbidden combo.

Manual is not negotiable. I know it exists so I wouldn't own the auto. To me, the auto doesn't even exist. That 7 speed with a "crawl" gear is just to freaking awesome.

I honestly don't care about colors inside or out, guess a yellow or orange would be my preference, but it's not a deal breaker or even close.

I don't care about things like heated seats or a big screen, the base 8 inch is more than I expected or want in a base.

I want the 2 door. 4 door makes more sense since I have a bunch of kids, but we all won't fit anyways. The 2 door just looks so awesome, I'll sacrifice the space. It's still way bigger than my samurai.

I want the hard top. It will never, or very rarely, come off.

I'm trying to think, I'm just not very picky. I want basic and cost effective. The only thing I really want is a manual with the offroad bits. Lift. Lockers. Upgraded Axel. Big tires. Everything else is not important.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone talk about gearing with the 7 speed! Sas with auto gives a small lift/suspension lockers front and back and 35” with rims and better gearing for the 35”. If you stick to black Diamond will the gearing be ok with 33” and 7speed? Would the 16” Steelies be better with 33” due to more side wall? I think I would prefer pizza cutters with the smaller fenders and a Sas lift or a 2” lift by its self.

My ideal build is essentially the Black Jack with a dual top option with a 2.3 and stick

This isn't my main daily, more the toy, so anything else I want I can retrofit or mod into it

Question....is there only one version of the locking front M210 differential? The Ford "compare models" pdf says locking front is standard on Badlands, but when you head down the "explore this model" path and get into the Power and Handling area.....it lists Electronic-locking Front and Rear Axle as optional. Presumably they're just regurgitating content from the optional Sasquatch package, even though the Badlands already had a locker front.

Full disclaimer: I realize this combination is basically a guaranteed not-gonna-happen but hey it's fun to dream.

- 2 Door, hard top
- 2.7TT + Manual plugin hybrid with 30 miles electric only range (can have a gear marked "E" like they're doing for crawler gear for selecting a single around-town EV-mode gear ratio like lots of folks do with their electric motor swapped classic cars)
- Sasquatch Package (Don't care about tires but I want lockers!)
- Hose-it-out interior with drain plugs and marine vinyl seats
- Exterior: Triple Yellow (I'd be happy with Kodiak Brown as a runner up)
- Interior: Dark brown with yellow stitching
- 12" screen, full keyless entry / start / locking
- Adaptive Cruise
- Electronic sway bar disconnect
- Steel front bumper with brush guard and winch provisioning

I'd add offroad roof racks that still allow for removing the panels above the front seats, some additional lighting, and that's pretty much it.

I suspect I'll use the Bronco the same way I use my Jeep JL, so I'll go with the Outer Banks trim. Off roading in the Jeep consists of easy trails, power line roads. etc., so any of the serious off roading options will be lost on me. I like the luxury stuff, i.e. leather, heated seats, etc., and still being able to do the not so serious off roading. I would much rather have a 2 door. But what I want, and what I need are 2 different things. So, it'll be a 4 door.

I'm able to pretty much spec out my 'Ideal' Bronco anyways but here's what mine would be

4-Door
2.7L Auto
Wildtrack
Single Body Colour Hardtop
Nardo Grey/Yas Marina Blue
Grille shown in promo's thats black with the LED "bronco"
Black Cloth Interior
Rubber washable floors with drain holes
High Package with the addition of adaptive cruise
Steel bumpers
Winch in the front
LED Light bar across top of windshield
220w Amp/Dual Batteries (for days at the beach)

Thats all i can think of at the moment, i'm sure as we start to see some of the accessories roll out i'll be able to talk myself into some. I like the idea of that sliding cargo tray but since the floor in the 4 door is a true flat, i'll have to see how that works before buying it.

I pretty much talked myself out of the Sasquatch.
Yea, I'm probably leaning toward the 285/70/17s. Sasquatch is certainly cool but would likely, for me, get tired in daily use.

Isn't the only way to get 285/70-17 (33") is to go with the Badlands? Bonus is, you also get front and rear lockers and the sway bar disconnect.

Apparently the 33"s only come as a Badlands option (per the spec sheet on Ford's website).
