I got the keyless entry and the console vault. My plan was to put the fob in the console vault and use the keyless to get in the vehicle. Only thing is that I took my doors and roof off and not planning on putting them back on until it's likely to rain. So that plan is not gonna work.
The Bronco will definitely start with the fob in the steel console vault. So I put the fob in a faraday pouch and put that in the console vault. Still starts. It'll give a "key not detected" warning occasionally, but you can still drive. I guess it's detecting it on and off.
So what now? More metal around the fob? I don't really want to have to take the fob in the water.
Also, do any of you guys and gals have kill switches installed?
