I will be very pleasantly surprised if my Bronco Raptor get the window sticker MPG.

My F-150 (3.5) could not get the claimed Hwy mpg even at a steady 60MPH. Also hand calculated mpg was always 2~3 mpg less than the truck said.

Not sure if I will use an app or hand calculate.

My Grand Sport gets the best mpg of any of our 4 wheel vehicles.

Thanks OP. If it is close to similar to my BL sas with 35's I will be more than pleased. I am averaging 17.1 when I don't drive too aggressive.

I’m at 16.9mpg combo in my 2.7 Sas Wildtrak. Had an OBX 2.3 non Sas for 2mos that was at 20.8mpg. I keep it in normal and only slightly aggressive on acceleration.

Yeah, so far I’m getting around 14 in town and 16 on the highway and I barely need to touch the gas pedal. Of course the highway speeds are more like 75/80 around here.

A very slight improvement over my Jeep, but then full throttle is a whole different experience over my Jeep.
yeah 14.8 for me. so far all bumper to bumper traffic or 80mph.

The upgrade from Badlands to Raptor basically pays for itself with gas savings.
No kidding. I'm driving a 4D 2.3 SAS Badlands, and barely get 16.2 after 1800 miles on the odometer. Mostly flat highway driving in central Texas.

There seems to be a ton of variability among 4D SAS rigs running 87. I'm almost wishing I'd taken my chances with the 2.7, but I'd probably still be waiting for my order instead of driving it around since that was a commodity constraint at the time.

It will be interesting to see how many people trade in/up for the PHEV Bronco whenever that rolls off the line at MAP. Unless they revive Cyber Orange (allowing me to keep my color), I'll consider it the CYB-ORG tax and keep my complaining under my breath.

Wow I do not know how your accomplishing these numbers. Even the window sticker is not even close to these numbers. And as mentioned by others the smaller tire on the Wildtrak 35 not even close. My Wildtrak which had 10k miles when I traded her for the Raptor averaged 18 mpg. And my new Raptor with over 1k miles is 16 MPG. And lots of highway driving and back road driving. I have run 87 and 93 octane without much difference MPG wise.

My trip 1 mpg has shown anywhere from 17.0 to 17.6 for mpg last five tanks. Hand calculated is 16.2 to 16.7. This is about 20% city, 30% interstate and 50 % two lane country roads at 45 to 55 mph. A bit hilly to as its east TN.

Best I got was 16.3 mpg.

seems like the braptor does best at about 50mphish.

on the highway once I’m going up mph or over I see a drop.

So just took delivery of my Raptor this week! AMAZING! I love it more than I thought I would, my wife does too! I was curious how the mpg's would be on the interstate. Here are some pictures from my drive home:
  • almost 21.5 @ 60 mph driving directly into the wind...had it over 22.5 with less wind
  • around 17.5 @ 70 mph cruising
  • around 18.5 @ 70 mph cruising plus rush hour traffic around atl
Overall, very impressed.

If anyone was curious, I was in: normal mode, comfort steering, normal suspension, normal exhaust, 87 gasoline, and accelerated gently. The Raptor has plenty of pep (very responsive to the accelerator)....I had to put my foot into it a time or two :)

I’m at about 14mpg on my BaseSquatch 2.7l lifted on 37s. Sucks.

Pretty much what I am finding is 45 to 55 is best MPG.

Drops a lot at 75 mph, but rides pretty good at that speed.
