Hey everyone it’s been a minute since I’ve posted here. Having a bronco is so much fun and to be honest I’ve been so busy driving it on the trials and having fun doing other things that I hardly come on anymore. But I decided to post this just in case if anyone else planned on installing this light bar from Baja designs.
this was a super easy install and it took maybe about an hour to do it. The “hardest” part of the install is mounting the brackets on the lights and making sure the lights aren’t pointing in the air. Wiring was super easy with the aux switches. Just ran the upfitter wire that came with the kit across the back of the grille and up into the engine bay to the aux wiring. Did the regular wiring stuff and boom they worked like a charm. I hooked mine to aux 2 and that’s what they recommend in the instructions. I’ll post some pics below and if you have questions feel free to ask. Thanks
I attached another photo of what the front camera looks like with the light bar. As well the mounting pics on the bumper
i decided to switch some of the lenses out today. Love how you can change the lenses on these lights anytime you want. I changed the wide cornering and the driving combo lenses to amber. I think it looks better then before. Plus I will be installing the cowl mounted pod lights today as well. Those will be amber light too! Posting pics below!
another update: the squadron pro pod lights are mounted and are amazing! Love these things! They give off tons of light! Super easy install. The hardest part when running the wire harness under the plastic trim by the windshield but once you got it it was easy the rest of the way. Once again if there are any questions ask away
filmed a video showing the brightness of both lights from the light bar and the cowl mounted lights!
