Yeah, I'd be ok with $79 but $129 seems a bit steep. I only want this so my daughter has more light when she's buckling herself in her car seat

Just like the OEM, it comes on when you open the doors.
there’s also a button to turn it on manually.

Yes, pop the OEM out and this one pops in, using almost identical clips. It also has three pieces of two-sided tape for added stability.
