Installed the Tailgate Table today

I installed the table a couple of days ago. It was pretty simple, I had no difficulties with the jack nuts as others have stated.

I originally had the MOLLE bag panel, just moved the bags to the new table. Its NOICE.

I finally got around to installing the tailgate table last night. Reading the threads I was a little uneasy about it but I bought it and waited too long I couldn’t return it. With it now installed I wish I didn’t spend so much time worrying about it. It was a 4/10 install difficulty if you watched YouTube videos while doing each step (which I did). If you were following the directions only, I could see why it’d be harder or more confusing.

On to the tips for you:
- With many saying the provided hardware can fail, get the Hillman jack nuts. I have extra I can send you if you’d like for free. DM me.
- Use a centering punch, eliminates the need to build up to the big bit.
- Use the bit stop, also eliminates the need to start with smaller bits and get to the big one.
- I don’t have a torque wrench that goes as low at 6.5. So I used a hand Allen wrench. This helped me from over tightening and breaking the jack nuts.
- Take it slow.
- Watch these YouTube videos while installing

I can report ZERO rattle and it works great! One disappointment as others have stated is the unfinished area behind the plastic trim. You can see it through the Bronco letters. I’ll have to come up with a solve for that.

I’ve mainly used mine for RC cars swapping batteries and setting them up. It does come in handy. Mine does. It rattle but the damn lockable drawer does (or the stuff I have in it lol). It’s nice to see the Molle bags will work with it too.

Yes you Could and the table is not rated for much weight and whats there to lose if it falls off
