Just installed Ford Performance Bilstein coilovers

I just installed the ford performance coil over kit on my ‘23 non SAS 2 door black diamond. It’s possible the suspension needs to settle a bit but my test drive seemed to result in more noticeable bumps in the road and a bit of nose dive when hitting the brakes that I hadn’t noticed with the Hitachis.
Also my net increase in lift looks like a 1 1/4 inch increase in the front and 1 1/2 inch lift at the rear The set was supposed to deliver a 2” lift as advertised.
Any thoughts?

Maybe crank up the preload a bit more

I installed these on my ‘ 23 Black Diamond V6 4 door and only got .75” in the front and 1.75” in the rear… I do think the ride is much better than stock on the street and excellent on rough trails…

I have a 2D 2.3 nonSAS BD and installed the FP Bilsteins earlier this year. I got a full 2 inches front and back. I also added a rear sway bar, which firmly helped stability with reducing nose dive and roll. I later added a track bar relocation bracket which significantly reduced push steer, which was always an issue with the stock setup. I couldn’t be happier with the current setup.

Can you fit 35s without removing the crash bars?

How does a rear sway bar reduce nose dive other than added weight in rear?

Can you fit 35s without removing the crash bars?

Not sure. I removed them as a precaution since I knew I was going to get the 35’s either way If concerned I understand there is a slimmer version of after market crash bars that might do the trick
