So I can buy a keypad, and use this method to config for my Bronco? Without having to mess with a dealer or proprietary software, just my time?
You still need to "link" the keypad to the vehicle, and that requires FDRS.

Otherwise you could just go buy one of these keypads and open every single Ford vehicle made in the last 15-20 years.

There is a card key there - but it isn't for the keypad.
Used to be one for the keypad. We had to find it for one of our older vehicles (I'm thinking this was mid-2000s). Can't remember which vehicle, but I remember pulling the inside trim apart to find it - and voila! There it was!

I mean, a dealer or previous owner could have stuck one up there too.. but they are supposed to ensure it's in the glove box (with the manual, when that existed) or handed directly to the buyer.

The one on the Bronco that is up under the dash in the fuse panel is for the BCM itself and won't work for the keypad.

It was different when the keypads were built into the vehicle from the factory. The current ones are wireless and a dealer-installed option.

Integrated keypads and stick on keypads are completely different.
The integrated ones used the code on or with the BCM

You should be able to reprogram, provided that you have the factory-set code. I used the "Programming a Personal Keyless Entry Code With the Keypad" part of the instructions here: https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...w-do-i-program-a-personal-keyless-entry-code/ and was able to add the same code I've used on my other Fords.
Holy buckets it worked! Now I need to call that Ford dealer and tell them to do just a little research on their products! Thank you so much!

That explains why I found the code on my brother's explorer - his is integrated on the window frame.

I ran across this video this morning and haven't tested it yet on my Bronco, but it could be a way to get the master keycode without having to go to the dealer.

Only works for integrated key pads. Won’t work for the Bronco.

Ok, this is pretty wild, however, while installing some electric yesterday, I found the attached card inside the dash... I believe this is the card for the keyless entry code. However, the code on my card is not working... Any ideas?

🤦🏻‍♂️
I don’t know how many times I have to say it in one thread, but what is one more time going to hurt lol

The card found on the BCM is not the correct card, or the correct code for your stick on keypad. The SecuriCode card is for something completely different, and would only work if the vehicle had an integrated keypad.

Yes, I understand that, however, I viewed this FoMo page.. suggesting it:

Where can I find the Keyless Entry Code?

If not it, what is BCM code for?
