If you want to drive fast, buy a sports car.........not an SUV.
Hahah, I knew it was just a matter of time until someone made this comment.

My daily is a Model S Plaid…doesn’t change the fact that I want a more powerful Bronco.

Did you get the new FSD update on your plaid? Made significant differences with mine

What difference does it make? Just because it’s an SUV doesn’t mean you can’t make it faster.
A fast bronco is literally the best of both worlds

I bought the Bronco for the great gas mileage, low NVH, exceptional build quality, and of course the the ease at which old and infirm get in and out...

I sleep through the night as well knowing if any of these things ever become a problem, my dealer will come through with amazing warranty service as well. I just can't understand why folks keeping asking @Ducati1098 all these questions 🤷‍♂️

This is great, I only wish you had picked a 2025 with the newer 2.3L MPC engine (same engine as the mustang uses) since I am waiting on a 2026 with this engine. It might be tough to know for sure, but some mods may work for both, while others only work on the older pre-25 engine. Maybe your next build!!

Oh, I wish I had an MPC motor. It’s too bad their ECUs are not cracked yet. Just hope it doesn’t take 4-5 years for it to happen 😩

When tuning opens up, they’ll rival the 2.7L in HP & TQ

Can't wait!! It is unfortunate that we can only get the manual transmission with the 2.3L. My guess is it has to do with saving money more than it has to do with limitations of the manual transmission's strength (I could be wrong). Another complication is I live in California so any performance changes are highly regulated. Still, looking forward to someday being able to upgrade my 2026 Badlands non-SAS, so my tires are 33". Even stock, with the manual, the 2025 I test drove seemed to have quite a bit of pep!

Yeah I think there’s a lot that goes into it. Manufacturing costs, warranty costs, potentially the power level, it would require a completely different transmission case and potentially different clutch, slave, master, etc.

Yes, that is definitely a possiblity but it might also require none-spec related changes to the manufacturing flow, costly stress/EOL analysis, a new power train layout ... which would be low on the ROE engineering NRE for a very limited number of customers who want a manual (management is likely to believe manuals are on their way out). My guess is having larger/heavier tires/weels, higher rear axle ratios probably result in larger stress/strain on the transmission/clutch than having a 20-30 percentage more horse power over a small percentage of the RPM range which is typically only seen while moving (higher RPM range). Then again I could be wrong.

Did you notice anything different switching from Ford DCT fluid to BG synchro shift II, as far as noise or operation?
