Not trying to sound like a dick or ruffle your feathers. But if your manufacturer can't simply deliver goods, then doesn't that hurt their bottom line? If so, then why don't they hire more truck drivers? Make them an offer they can't refuse. No unemployment check can keep up with $60+ an hour. I'm trying to rent a forklift right now, it's $275 to deliver, $275 to pick it up. But I only need it an hour, so I can avoid the pickup fee by having the delivery driver sit in the parking lot. The company told me I would have to pay his standard rate which was $117.80 an hour. Totally blown away. I bet they have no issue holding on to drivers. I know that's equal to pay benefits and taxes but still
Well you do kinda do sound like a dick, but anyway…Thanks for the wonderful advice. I’m sure the people that run our multimillion dollar company haven’t thought of that yet. You should run for president.
