My order was placed on 03/13/2021, converted to a 2022 last fall, and still I have no VIN or production date. The dealer has no information, or they are not sharing any. I'm curious about how many of us with orders as old as mine are still waiting?

Did your order get converted to a 2022 in the fall? Did you get an updated order confirmation from your dealer at that time? Ask them for a copy of the DORA.

Not at all. I have read multiple reports of people with similarly equipped vehicles being delivered who ordered multiple months after me.

Well, being there are lots on here that had a day 1 reservation, converted to an order, then reordered, and not received anything? You may find your question not received quite how you think it should be.

Likely WELL over one hundred thousand!!

No word from my dealer either. I don't expect delivery until 2023 at this point.
Aug 2020 reservation, placed order when order banks first opened in Jan 2021.....

I have 2 orders. 1st order from January 2021, no vin, no info from the dealer. 2nd order from a big dealer December 2021, being built this week. Ford really screwed up this launch.

It's going to suck if you get a Wrangler and then Ford issues a VIN two weeks later, but then it sometimes feels like it could be two years.

I was frustrated enough that I was thinking about cancelling and getting a Defender several weeks ago, but then I spoke with a nice lady at the Ford corporate office and she urged me not to - she said in the event I cancelled that the dealer would still eventually get the vehicle and then they would be free to mark it up and price gouge the public to their heart's content. I will wait.
