I don't watch these forms all day everyday, so I just have a simple question. Does anyone have any idea when March confirmed orders may take delivery? Mic roofs excluded. I'm guessing Nov or Dec but I wanted to see what everybody else thought.

My build......

Black Diamond
SAS
Soft Top
Mid package
Tow package

Next summer I'm sure is a bit of a stretch. Lol. I'm definitely hoping for at latest December.

Still depends on far more than you asked. When did you reserve and what? Spring is likely unless you are a no frills soft top. Then go pick it up tomorrow:)

125,000 orders confirmed in March of 221. Painted tops will not be until dec 2022 at the earliest. Most orders will be by March 2022 but some orders with multiple constrains will drag until July 2022 or so. Almost all of the soft top orders will be a 2021 model so no later than Jan 2022 delivery. If Webasto gets their act together the timeline shrinks. I’m betting roof supplier #2 is online by MY23 and the painted top is built by someone not named Webasto.

Pretty sure webasto may have to rebrand after this debacle.

I am praying for a MY21 with as late day 2 reservation. My build is a BL, soft top, SAS, 2.7l, high, and tow. I think many of us are going to end up with a MY22.

Yeah my dealer told me there is a good chance I would get one of the first runs of the 22 model year. But you just never know

I have a day 3 res. also #180 on my dealer's allotment and am being told there's a small chance of delivery before years end.

First check to see how many are ahead of you in your dealers 21 allocation.

I'm betting supplier #2 is named FoMoCo, or a wholly owned subsidiary.

My build......

Black Diamond --- ok
SAS --- deadly sin option
Soft Top --- Good
Mid package --- Good
Tow package --- Deadly sin option
2.7 L --- Deadly sin option
The soft top helps things a bit, but Ford says the other options in red may cause delays.
It will be a total crap shoot to guess, but it is my understanding dealer allocation will play a big part.

Actual order date has zero effect as long as you made it in before the cut-off date.

The big players on what gets built are:
  • Dealer allocation and where your position is in that line. ( EX: 1st out of 30 or are you 29th of 30 and they are only getting 10 this year)
  • ..... and probably most importantly , Buildability , what parts are constrained. See above.
  • Reservation time stamp
In theory:
Ford has the orders lined up, probably by time stamp and/or dealer allocation.
They know what parts will be available to build THIS Bronco next month.
They will go down the list and find the first build that matches and schedule it.
....in theory.

I’m not sure allocation is going to factor as much since most dealers have 5 new vehicles on the lot. After months of disruptions Ford is going to build whatever they can to sell as fast as possible.
