Ok, not quite old. Eighty two, 2 heart attacks, quintuple bypass surgery, 20 year Wrangler owner, now proud owner of a 2023 Bronco Outer Banks, Hot Pepper Red, V-6, LUX package.
Reserved Oct 4, 2022; order accepted Mar 27, 2023, took delivery Jul 22, mods completed Sep 15 (I think).
Replaced stock 32s with 33s (Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT, 275/70 R-18), removed tow hooks, replaced with brackets/shackles (Rough Country), added mud flaps (AIG front, Ford rear), bug/stone deflector (Ford/Aeroskin), doorsill protectors (Ford/TufSkinz), grab handles (Bartact), door panel and door handle storage (Mabett), dashboard mat/trays (DKMGHT), and console and glove box organizers (Mabett).
All done! I think.
Oh, and about the shackles. I know, nipple rings for posers like me. But, hey, 82, heart attacks, bypasses. I have a short time horizon and don't give a d*mn what anybody thinks. If you should find me off road it means I crashed. Call 911.
Love the Bronk! Cheers.
