I have the MGV, 7MT, ceramic coating on the windows, soft top and use a windshield shade. For me the MGV is a bit ‘swampy’. It just doesn’t breathe. Don’t know if I would trade it out for cloth because cloth has its own drawbacks.

For a daily driver in any hot environment. After driving an hour with ac on max, get where I’m going and back is soaked with sweat. Mgv doesn’t breathe at all (that’s it’s job). For having fun in the dirt it’s great to be able to easily clean.
You're wrong there. MGV's job is to NOT breathe at all, because it's job is to stop your seat cushions from getting wet, even gore-tex or similar fabrics will eventually let water through if it is left to pool.

You just gave me a very nasty image of sweaty ass "pooling" on the MGV seats... thanks a lot...

... that's what I said. It doesn't breathe, that's its job (to not breathe).

Yes. That's exactly what happens. And lower back too.

NICE 2 DOOR!!!

What is really nasty is wearing shorts and setting your" lilly white" on those seats that could fry an egg!!!!!:mad::mad: OUCH!!!!! second degree burn territory!!!

God, I remember my dad had these "whonky" spring loaded ventilated pads that looked like it was digging into his back....those things were hysterical!!!!

What would be nice is to have AC blowing through the vented holes in the seat like an MBZ... or Lexus!!!
That would be nice.

HEAR THAT AFTERMARKET?????

If its any consolation... The Neoprene seat covers I bought for my daughters jeep made me sweat.
I'm hoping these CalTrend SportsTex seat covers will work. Been talking with them and sent them photos of the mgv seats to confirm.. hopefully hear back tomorrow and will order.

I'd consider the katskins with ventilated seats... but I don't want to sped that much if I'm going to be ordering a wildtrak (for other reasons than seats, but the cloth seats are nice touch.). I drove a base sasquatch at off roadeo with cloth seats and no issues and it was 104+ that day.

I'm wondering this is in this section. The only issue is the Op.
Cause I didn't know where else to put it. It's an issue. Some people have agreed. It could lead to an internal modification I guess.

I love the MGV, but wanted something to keep the sun off the seats when parked, so I ended up purchasing these...

Seat Armour SA100FORG Grey 'Ford' Seat Protector Towel

Looks like the price went up a bit from when I purchased, but I love them. When I get in, I simply swing the one on my seat around, so I get the MGV when driving, but they don't get scorching hot while parked.
Protect your thighs when you wear short jorts like the model in the pic? 😁

Give you a dollar to drink it. 🤑

For daily driver it sucks.
That’s all.
Gonna go order some seat covers now.

Living in the hot and humid south this is why I bought a poor man’s Wildtrack.

If the wildtrack came with gray interior it would be in my driveway, but I don’t regret getting the BB since I didn’t have plans to get the high/Lux package.

Hopefully you can find something that makes you more comfortable. I’m not a small guy and I run hot so MGV is a big no for me.

I’m very happy with the MGV here in central NC with windows off/down all summer and I rarely ever use AC. And I’m a heavy sweater but I’ve not noticed any issue.

gotta say i havent had exact issue BUT could see where its possible, i would blame poor AC, the Bronco doesnt have the best full car AC system. I do drive as a daily driver, i live in Ga, and have a business (sales) job, so i do drve to appointments, i have been able to manage, maybe full tinted windows helps me???
