I would think this is crazy expensive. I've seen Cerakote coated weapons that are hundreds over their regular price. I imagine that it would be more for a larger item.

I think you might be referring to ceramic wipes.I like the Cerakote wipes for restoring black plastics like flares and trim. Works better and lasts longer than any I’ve ever used.
The hardtop in question is in fact mine. I have yet to see it complete in person. More details will follow when I pick it up next week.Unfortunately, we really can't accurately discuss the details of your post of someone elses post. Too much missing information . . .

At least not without a poll, right?Unfortunately, we really can't accurately discuss the details of your post of someone elses post. Too much missing information . . .
Yes, cost would be nice to know @Papa Smurf...I had my Chevelle's headers Cerakoted. I wouldn't have thought to paint a Bronco top with it. I also wouldn't have thought it could be color matched to Cactus Gray or some other body color (other than basic black, etc.). There are lots of Cerakote hues off the shelf, but I imagine color matching is difficult??? I guess we'll find out.... Hopefully the OP will share the cost too.
