Looks like the F150 light is brighter than ours...
May be interchangeable

It's still switchable the way it is now... Not always on

LED will be less hot than a traditional bulb.

LED’s have very little surface area and will quickly heat up over time. Yes generally it takes a lower wattage to equate the same light output as regular halogen bulbs so they usually produce significantly less heat comparatively however you can still cause problems. There was a person on here that had an issue with their license plate light staying on and it melted the plastic in the housing

I would be very happy if we could at least find a way to increase the speed at which the light can be turned on. I will rarely need additional lighting at less than 5mph, but slightly faster than that, yes.

This plug doesn't impact the side spots, there's one in each side of the dash, not sure what they are for though. Anybody else try finding the wiring for these yet?

Is it not possible to find it in forscan and and deselect the speed sensor? Same with the perimeter lighting.
