Two to my dealership was $1,281.29, of that $562.10 was shipping, $600.60 was the two bumpers, the rest is probably some made up tax. What was the shipping cost?

Great thanksI asked a member to do a YT review if/when these show up, waiting to hear back. These may be complete crap so I'd let me be the test dummy before getting a groupie together.
Let me know what you think of themJust ordered 2 of them. The translator on Ali sucks but I think they're supposed to get here in 30-45 days.
+1 for same.I would be interested too in the idea of placing a group order, based on how the quality turns out.
I pay 25% customs on Alibaba purchases.the rest is probably some made up tax.
I’m interested in it. For the cost might be worth the risk. (Even though someone scammed me out of 600 bucks on the classifieds here). Glutton for punishmentIt honestly looks like every other post in the classifieds is someone looking for a Modular bumper to replace the Base OEM plastic bumper. Not that it's probably a good option, but I did contact a few Chinese vendors through Alibaba. They claim to have an EXACT replica of it with all parts and sensor holes for $288. Freight is on top of that but I imagine if 20 people bought them, would be a lot less than the $325 freight for the one unit. From past examples, guessing it would be about $100 Freight per unit at 20 units. So maybe like $400 a unit at 20 units conservatively including import taxes, etc. The company I talked to on this is the most reputeable and Ive seen their work and it's pretty good...or at least as good as you will get from Chinese duplicators.
Included some screen shots the "engineer" sent me of the modular bumper they offer and one of the advertised photo.
Disclaimer: I'm not pushing or selling these things...just sharing some info from something that caught my eye and had my curiosity up.

Makes sense. There was an $80some dollar "tax" which may have been the customs. The chat with "Chloe min" was less than fluid. I understand all of these shops can't have someone fluent in all languages but the translate tool Ali uses doesn't convert mandrin to english very well.I pay 25% customs on Alibaba purchases.
Mini rant here on the subject: That teaser price to get clicks is pure bs. People say I'm buying $30 compressors and making $100 profit. I'm at $100 a unit by the time it's in my possession and that's with bulk discounts. If I have to ship to the east coast I make $5 on a unit all said and done.
You get used to it and learn phrasing that translates well. I usually chat up 10-20 suppliers with similar products before reaching a deal.Makes sense. I don't get how the heck there're that many different shops making the same thing. Do they really all have their own tooling/molds or are they just different brokers buying from one or two big manufacturers? You get used to it and learn phrasing that translates well.
