I live on a dirt road. I can't roll up my windows while driving due to the bounce. Absolutely ridiculous.

Mine doesn't even show any update details, nothing listed under software updates. I know it's on 4.2.3 and has a set schedule with wifi / auto updates on but still, nothing.Sync Settings -> software updates -> update details
Shows last update applied
There was a spot for version as well but I didn’t dig that up when I was in the truck - will look later
Ford Pass used to show this same thing under Updates, and it still does but only as a 1-time alert, maybe
Unless you have an active OTA queued to download/install on your vehicle, checking for updates will either a) tell you you're up to date even if you're not or b) show you the last update your vehicle received. The only way to check what modules have pending updates on any vehicle is with Ford's PTS website or FDRS software.Ok, I'm with others here in that I can't seem to find anywhere if mine has updated and if so when/what? I have auto-updates on but the stupid FordPass app now doesn't tell you crap.
I went in the vehicle settings and checked and all it says is it's all good, no updates at this time. Can't seem to find anywhere that tells me last update and what version it's running.
I'll admit to being and engineer that still occasionally has challenges with programmable remotes... but it would seem to me to be relatively important to be able to tell if you're "smart" vehicle is staying, well, "smart"
Not intending to derail, just bitching
Highly unlikely that a software update will fix the wobbles, but who knows.About time! Now just hoping they can fix the shaking/wobbling when driving or opening the door
I'm hoping this isn't the only window fix they mentioned would be coming in Q3
The repair @WheresMyBronco is talking about coming out in Q3 wont be software related. It'll be a mechanical repair.Highly unlikely that a software update will fix the wobbles, but who knows.
That will be a miracle. The window flop on my driver's side is horrible, even with the adjustment screws pushed all the way.The repair @WheresMyBronco is talking about coming out in Q3 wont be software related. It'll be a mechanical repair.
I literally can't roll up my windows when driving on anything but the smoothest pavement. The force from a bumpy road makes the bronco think there is an obstruction and it rolls the windows all the way down instead of up.exactly my windows work fine right now. hopefully this won't "fix' them so they don't work properly
That's what my wife says! But the seatbelts work. You just have to be more watchful of the redlight runners these days.I’m good, I don’t want to die.
i experience the same thing.Mine doesn't even show any update details, nothing listed under software updates. I know it's on 4.2.3 and has a set schedule with wifi / auto updates on but still, nothing.
The "crash test" that you may be thinking of was a clip from a video game called Beam.NG drive, which is a realistic crash simulator. The Bronco is a vehicle modded into the game without the work put in to make it crash accurately to real life. I have seen this video posted as about on YouTube, Reddit, and Facebook with people thinking it's real.Probably the wrong vehicle to buy then. The crash test ratings are no bueno
I work in tech, I knew that video was CGI in the first couple of seconds. I’m referring to basic physics for when crash bars are removed from vehicles, what happens to frontal impact crashes. SAS broncos have no crash bars, and SAS broncos were specially not tested by NHTSA because manufacturers only have to test one trim so they will always test the safest trimThe "crash test" that you may be thinking of was a clip from a video game called Beam.NG drive, which is a realistic crash simulator. Hey @GPPBronco, when you say the nuts should be "slid forward", in which direction is "forward" to tighten the window seal? Are the held in a track/slot? Thx.If you’re dealing with wobbling windows or windows that break seal in crosswinds, this isn’t the update you’re looking for. Instead, you need to look at the bottom edge of your door, remove the rubber/plastic plugs to reveal adjustment nuts that should be loosened, slid forward, and then tightened. This increases the pressure/tension on the windows to press them against the weather sealing. I did this in March and it has been fine since then.
Owning a Bronco requires basic mechanics tools and you will definitely grow your skills over time or pay someone else who has those skills. Ford delivers a product that is 90% built and sorted. The other 10% is up to us.
Gotcha. I am curious how the Sasquatch crashes for that reason, I've seen some people say that the additional tire size cushions the impact but I am very skeptical of that since it's spinning mass.I work in tech, I knew that video was CGI in the first couple of seconds. I ride a motorcycle so I never thought about bronco safety tbh lolGotcha. I am curious how the Sasquatch crashes for that reason, I've seen some people say that the additional tire size cushions the impact but I am very skeptical of that since it's spinning mass.
Fair enough! I have a non sas so I'm sure I would crash better in mine than a similar wrangler. The tire size I went for (285/75r17) was chosen for the ability to keep the crash bars installed with no rubbing.I ride a motorcycle so I never thought about bronco safety tbh lol
