Yup try battery. My Bronco is a ‘24 and has like 2k miles and I recently installed a bunch of stuff and I had left the hood up in the garage for like 4 days which apparently drains the battery. When I got done and started it back up I got a park system fault and it went away after I started driving, so even on a new one a low battery will make it flip out. Hopefully it’s something simple
I am going to buy a battery charger right now and try that. I think the only fault that I did not see on the panel was a park system fault 😂

It's going into limp mode, you are gonna have to get the DTC codes. You mention you have ESP, any reason you didn't just take it into the dealer?

Did you get any alerts on Ford Pass app?

Also second charging the battery - this forum is full of posts where people swear their battery is great, super volty, tested, brand new, etc... and then they just go and put it on a charger overnight and the problems all magically disappear. Just pull it out of the Bronco, throw it on a trickle charger overnight, and put it back it. It may not fix whatever the problem is, but it also doesn't cost anything and is easy to do, and it's amazing how many times it ~does~ fix the problem.
I did call Ford and scheduled an appointment and the first they can get me in is in a couple of weeks. But that's why I'm trying for an easier fix so I don't have to rent a car. It is going in the limp mode every time I drive now.
I am going to go buy a battery charger and give that a try.
On the app the error says "The powertrain control module has detected an electrical concern with the supply voltage for some of the powertrain sensors."

Obd2 codes: P06A6 $07E8

Thanks for your feedback!

P06A6 is VREF issue.
This has nothing to do with the battery.
You either have a shorted sensor or a wiring issue.
There are a ton of different things that can take down the VREF, so unless you see something obvious, you’re most likely going to need to wait for a dealership to correctly diagnose it.

no the only thing I have done is added 3 amber grill lights (raptor lights) which are powered into the engine fuse box. I did notice that that had been unplugged by ford at a previous service, so I put it into the Aux 6 port. I'm not sure if that could have caused it but I doubt it. I'm going to go buy a battery charger
Might want to buy a good voltmeter too, some way to accurately measure battery voltage. Measure it both when engine is shut off and when engine is running. A voltmeter is also a good way to find poor connections. There are a number of people on here who can guide you if need be.

Thank you and I will try that. I was just driving and the instrument panel read 14.3 volts, would it still read that high if there was a battery issue? Now that you brought it up, I'm going to go by AutoZone and have them test it.
Thats the charging voltage not the battery voltage

so if any of those go bad you will get the symptom listed above????....to complicated for a vehicle to be used in rough terrain

There’s certainly a potential. Welcome to any modern vehicle

Well there is a lot to be said for the good old army jeep or an early CJ5 for off roading. Simplicity at its best.

I had something very similar to this at like 10 miles on my new 2023, ended up being the entire engine wiring harness that needed replaced. Took a good month for Ford to figure out.

2021 Bronco First Edition with 42k miles.

I have a new issue with my Bronco. While it drives well most of the time, I now regularly encounter a problem where multiple error messages pop up on the screen (sequentially) while I am driving, causing the vehicle to effectively, stop responding. The engine remains on, and I don't lose power to the brakes or steering, but the car won't react when I press the gas pedal. It seems like it's some critical failure safety measure, though feels critically unsafe when it occurs. When surrounded by other vehicles, at speed, I am forced to coast to a stop (with a prayer). Usually, when I put it in park, turn off the vehicle, and get out, it will reset all of the errors and work again. This situation is quite dangerous, especially when I'm around other cars. I contacted Ford, but they fit me in for two weeks. Thankfully, I have the ESP. Do you have any ideas or advice? The battery terminals are secure.

Here are the error codes that appear and continue to cycle, in order:
-4x4 Off
-Service Vehicle Soon
-Service advance Trac
-Check 4x4
-Pre-collision assist not available
-Service advance track
You shoulda fixed that roof leak way back when. Look at you now.

It didn't start on fire between now and then did it? Asking for a friend...

It's me. I'm the friend.

Nope! It is sitting at Ford waiting to be serviced. Recharging the battery did not work, no fires, no rodents eating wires, no obvious loose wires, just 3 OBD codes. Thankfully, when the technician first test drove it at the dealership, it went into limp mode for him. He was about a mile away from the dealership and was trying to figure out how to get back. Lol. I actually laughed when he called and told me about that, knowing how many people take their vehicle to the dealership only to be told "could not replicate". I'll update once there is a resolution. Thank God for ESP because at the end of the day, it is "made in America" 🤣

Nice man. Good to have had that happened. When our started was going out they had it for two days and it wouldn't do it. Then it literally happened when we were going to pull it out of the dealer parking lot. Luckily it did it again in front of the tech and they ordered the warranty starter right then.

As far as the fire comment that's a little joke about our bronco starting on fire, and now months later it is starting to behave in a similar manner to yours. Though at first it was only when wheeling so we thought maybe a transfer case clutch issue. Dealer had it for a week and could never replicate the problem, and despite the pages and pages of codes stored in the cloud, because we reset everything ourselves and none of the codes were active, they couldn't do anything else to figure out what the problem might be.
