Hi All, This is Chris with TCBroncos.com (Texas Complete Truck Center) So that first rack that appeared in Flex Rocks and Rollovers we designed and built in about a week. We where delivered a Bronco at the shop and for 14 days we spent every waking second looking for parts and trying to overcome the obstacles of having a smaller platform but needing room for 5 guys and the space to carry all of our camera gear. The top was designed with maximum weight in mind, so it is rigid but we made sure to leave the sides and back accessible and removeable.

You do not have to remove the Rear window to access the Cargo area, that's another unique problem with the soft top. Because the Soft top lifts up like a trunk we brought the roof rack just forward of the bend so that it is still fully accessible. If we bring the top closer to the end we could make it pivot backwards but then the "Trunk" feature of the soft top would be useless.

And for the Bulkiness, Yes in the next few months we will be working on a version that is just rails, Our plan is to use our side pieces and connect rails to the front for the people just wanting to run a Roof Top Tent or their favorite roof rack. In this version I believe we can make it quickly removable for the people that want to drop the top. At the moment we are working on a RTT adapter for this set up that will allow for 13gal of water storage, the Roof Top Tent and have about 2' towards the rear of space for extra gear and Ice chests.

Hopefully by this Friday we will have an install video and walk around with the version of the roof rack that we are currently shipping. IF yall have any Ideas on the products you would like to see let me know.

Im looking for something like this but rather than a full cage rack, just bars to support a thule cargo carrier I have. I dumped enough money on the bars and carrier I really dont want to get a hitch rack.
But looking at the price of this soft top cage, Ill probably spend MUCH less just getting the hitch rack. BLAH.
The challenge on the hitch rack is the spare tire is in the way

I'd love a rack that is easily removable from my 4 door soft top when needed. Looking forward to see what you all come up with.

This x1000

Fun fact I originally wanted a Sport Badlands, with the Badlands package, specifically for the sun roof. All my cars except for one have had one and I wasn't going to compromise on it.

Once I realized a Sport wasn't a good fit for me, the soft top was the next best option for me. Why? Low effort to get it open, doing so doesn't take up cargo space like with a hard tip.

I'm impulsive but also hella anxious - I want to take the roof off on a whim driving to a camp spot, but I also want to be as prepared as possible if I need it back on. The hard top roof panels take up enough space that we wouldn't be able to load up camping gear, the dog, and have space for them in the back, even with a rack for storage.

Maybe it's a pipe dream to have it all but there's gotta be some wizard out there that can conjure it šŸ¤”
I found Harry Potter (wizard lol)

I like it, how does the back attach? Does it tie into the bolt holes for where the hard top would mount? Can you post a rear picture and a front picture?

yes we utilized the existing holes, so no additional drilling or modifications. This is the prototype and Iā€™ll have photos soon. Thanks.

Probably the quarter panel bolts? The hardtop bolt locations would require extra contours in roof rackā€™s side panelā€™s mounting plate. RAKET might have read the question too fast, or maybe he did use the hardtop bolt locations?

sorry I was at a football game. We used the quarter panel bolt along with 3 of the hardtop locations.
