Finally got around to taking off the hardtop of my 2024 Badlands and 2 of the bolts on the passenger side were very difficult. Once I got off I saw why. What is the best way of going about getting this fixed?

I'd start with the dealer before I did anything myself.

Waiting on a call back from dealer, sent sales rep pics and he said he didn't know how they were going to fix it that it was a manufacturing issue 🤦

Die grinder with a carbide burr to open up the hole. A Dremel may be able to handle it too.
Agree it should be a warranty repair.
Did the top fit ok? If not, the underlying threaded bung needs to be relocated.

This is the response I received from my salesman "
I have no idea, you can set up an appointment for service and see what they can do but that's from the factory so I don't know how they would fix it or change it"

I would let the dealership handle it 1st before anything is touched and think they would without issue...🤔

But, as far as a repair.... drill it out and install a nut sert and just get new hardware to match.

Good luck at the dealership...🫰🫰

Sounds like a fair assessment from a salesman. It’s not his job to fix it or know how to. Take it in and have the service manager look at it.

Start with dealer it shouldn't be a problem.
If you have to tackle it I would use these they allow for some misalignment are usually stainless and can be installed with flush rivets👍
