I haven't seen anyone post this so here is what I can find. Still waiting on real world results (and pricing) to see if I am going to pull the trigger on this one. Happy with my Morrflate setup but having a system that will match it's performance and also "power" air tools would be a bonus.

If the price is comparable, maybe I'll get this new brushless unit. The performance uplift is significant, but the dual unit was already pretty much top tier. If the "old" duals go on some kind of sale or clearance, I'll probably get that.

Man that is really nice. I wonder what the price is going to be?

This is one of the things I'm most excited about from SEMA this year, they said price is 30% higher than the brushed options.

The form factor looks a bit different so I'm curious if companies need new mounts to fit these.

I'm super interested in this. I've mounted my twin compressor on a MOLLE panel in the rear, but the panel wobbles and rattles from the weight of the compressor (my assumption).

I noticed that the new single brushless compressor has a 100% duty cycle, while the current single only has 50%.

With the greater air output, I'm curious to know how much slower a brushless single compressor would be compared to the brushed (is that what it's called now?) twin. Taking up less space and weighing less would be nice.

Link to specs.

@SunilD :That is a good question. Could the single brushless put out as much power as the current brushed twin?

The brushless compressors have more output than before, but a brushless single doesn't output more than a brushed twin.

The specs (scroll down) say a single brushless will do 4.59 CFM (at 0 psi), while the brushed twin does 6.16 CFM (a difference of 1.57). At 29 psi the output is less, but the difference between the two is the same.

I guess this would be a nice upgrade if someone is already using a single, and a slight compromise if you want to save money/space/weight over the twin.

Boycotting Arb till they improve their packaging and build quality. Way to many posts about Arb shipping damaged products and my arb sliders were junk.
If you buy an ARB Compressor from us it'll arrive in one piece. We receive our compressors on a pallet and before we re-ship them to our customers we inspect each one and add additional padding. This ensures every compressor we ship arrives undamaged. Out of the 1,000+ compressors we've sold in the past few years only maybe 1 or 2 arrived with a damaged connector that was easy to replace.

Just one additional step we take when we sell someone something.

I'll be curious to know if the mounting points match up to the old one. My new truck will need a compressor, would be great if I could drop the brushless one into the Bronco and move my existing twin to the new truck.

@4x4TruckLEDs.com It would be much appreciated if you guys could check this and let us know once you receive your units 😀
