NEW Wildtrak, 6.7 miles, check engine light on

I just received my NEW, 2023 4 door Wildtrak. Unloaded from transport truck, and engine stumbling @ idle, and check engine light is on! Odometer shows 6.7 miles!
I drove it to a friends shop and he did a scan. Injector #1, & #5 not firing.
Took it to the dealer for warranty repair. 2-3 days before they can get to it and identify the issue.
Will be interesting to see what they say.
Not exactly what I expected when I picked it up, to say the least!!!!

Gotcha. What did the out of state dealer have to say? Did the driver indicate any issues when loading? Doesn't seem likely that the check engine light would mysteriously come on after it left the dealer.

Was it an order or off the lot? I assume it had the issue going on the trailer. Definitely a WTH.

The dealer is very concerned. The sales manager, who I bought the Bronco from, actually drove it, and filled it with fuel, before it was shipped. He said it was fine.
It sat at the dealership for about 10 days, due to the holidays, before it was shipped.
Sales manager has no idea what could have happened, and I tend to believe him, because he has been great to deal with. He really went to great lengths to make this purchase totally easy!
Local dealer said it will be a few days before they can look at it.

Transport could have damaged a sensor.

I've had a speed sensor get snagged before, and my bronco's passenger outer tire rod was damaged by transporter.

What was the fuel level when you got it? I wonder if it is some sort of evap issue.

Build date was 11-21-23. Dealer had it about a week before I purchased it.
don’t think it is bad gas.
I had a friend scan it and injectors #1, & 5, are not firing.
Will see what the local dealer finds.

Interesting idea. Wonder what sensor would cause 2 injectors not to fire?
fuel level was above 3/4.
I pushed open the flapper, in the fuel fill tube, and there was a bit of pressure in it, but I think that is normal.
now it’s a waiting game with the local dealer.
