If you have a 4 door, you can always remove 2 doors and then you are left with a 2 door, but if you get a 2 door you can't add 2 doors to have a 4 door

I’d guess 2 door gets nixed for the refresh.

From what I read 2 doors will be able to be ordered tomorrow. Just a real small allotment. Thinks it breaks down to 1 a dealer or some shit. I’d call a couple more dealerships tomorrow. Unless the canceled it all together

2 door is a 10% constraint percentage, so they are wrong. However, very few 2 doors will be actually built.

I laugh because we know it sounds ridiculous, but if there is no supply yet demand for it, then why not. My '23 OBX is being built next week and I planned on selling it before registering it. I really like my BD and since it is paid off and has been problem free, I don't want to risk a spin on the roulette wheel of MAP QC with the OBX. Now, I may just hold on to it for a bit. If the 2-dr is nixed for the MY'24 refresh, then it might take 70k to buy it from me.

I honestly thought about that. A 2dr SAS 23my is going to signify you had a prior years res only. Kinda cool.

I wouldn’t be surprised. When Jeep introduced the JKU they expected it to be at best 25% of the sales. By 2009 it was 73% and before my buddy left Chrysler/Daimler whatever it was above 80%. That said I’ve only ever owned 2 door Wranglers. If I were to get another it would be 4 doors.

Yeah guys, a 2 Dr truck, or car even are increasingly rare as people prioritize the perception of convenience over all else. What is it we called it back in the 80s, the microwave society.

Rare or not, the 2 Dr represents a purpose driven purchase by someone who cared just that much about the fun, heritage, and nimbleness.

I love mine, but can’t say I’m trying to win over any converts either. You’re either down for the 2 or you’re a Moar door.

Whatever; as long as you get it dirty, I’m here for it.
