Thanks for the info!

Just a heads-up, it's "Not compatible with Badlands 4-door with 2.7L engine. Not for use with Bronco Raptor models "

Tried adding it back in October 2020 and it made the truck too heavy. Go figure.

I read on here awhile back that the reason you can't get the roof rack with the Badlands and V6 has to do with the GVWR or something like that. Can anyone confirm that it would fit the same as on any other Bronco - the holes are predrilled above the windshield and such?

If it works on my Badlands I will have it waiting when I bring it home.

They've been charging $1800 until now. I bet you could get it for closer to $600 through some dealers.
I was expecting well north of $2k, because, well Ford...

😠

I mean, I understand things cost more over the counter than on the build sheet, but geez! This is literally a bolt-on part that costs $365 to add to your build - in a separate shop from the assembly line, to boot. So instead of them bolting it on in Detroit, they ship it to your dealer and then you have to pick it up and bolt it on yourself… for $825??? A 125% markup… Wow.

who has been charging $1800? This item hasn't been available for order on the website at all until now. My dealer ordered it for me months ago (still waiting) but the cost was $825. There are two brands of aftermarket roof racks available. Those are both over $1000 but look to be far more capable.

Ford dealerships. They had to piece them together.

The part number for the whole rack with rails and crossbars has been available for months. My dealer put in the order for mine in November.

Ordering part by part was never going to be a viable option for anyone - that would obviously cost a fortune.

However I also ordered the rack from www.Badasstents.com and I will be posting a review of that shortly. Importantly, it allows you to remove the 2nd row roof panel with the rack on. The Ford OEM version does NOT!
