I do it myself, keep receipts, use motorcraft oil and filters because I’m 62, always did it and will until I can’t get off the ground. I TRUST ME!!!!

Fl400s is way better than 920s and the dealers use bulk lowest possible cost oil that they can’t sell retail. We had “nobody knows, just that it comes from a local company called reeder distributors” and it was conventional not even a blend. Back when we were doing $20 oil changes (yes they lost money on purpose) totally backfired other guys were trashing motors and crashing cars and people were furious they had to drop the car off and come get it at the end of the day cause there were 15 cars waiting for us to open lmao. Cheap asses. Had a 3 drawer file cabinet FULL of new oil filters from vehicles with “lifetimed” filters aka they didn’t have the ability or motivation to change them

The most predictable results:
1. Stay as far away from dealer as possible
2. Raid your oil filter and oil stash for the required items.
3. Pull the drain plug and allow oil to drain into a pan while catching a sample.
4. While the oil is draining, replace the oil filter.
5. Reinstall the drain plug.
6. Fill the engine with oil.
7. Start the engine and check for leaks.
8. Package and mail sample.
9. Review results and add to trending.
10. Enjoy your favorite beverage with the time, money, and aggravation saved.
