Hey all! Hopefully this is the right section to post this. Anyone had any experience with this product or something like it? Seems like a reasonable alternative to getting covered in oil every time. I'm not a huge fan of the price tag, but maybe there's something else out there that's similar and priced better?

I have the Ronin Factory plug. Works well. No hot oil all over you hand.

Yes, seems to work without issues. I’ve got slightly over 20K on my Bronce, so I’ve used it 3 times. The “valve actuator” does not stay connected to the vehicle when you’re not draining the oil, so don’t lose it!

I use the Ronin plug on both Broncos. Works better than OEM and is the cleanest oil change ever.

I have the Ronin and very happy with it! Great to be able to control the drain flow and remove to wipe metal shavings off

I saw some reports of people breaking their plastic oil pans with the Ronin plug. So I ordered the UPR.

One this forum? How many people broke theirs?
Check out the f150, mustang forums, and some of the Amazon reviews. It’s a small group of people but I didn’t want to risk it. UPR drain plug has the same locking mechanism as the stock plug.
