It looks like you’ll be able to store the doors AND front MIC tops on board at the same time. My question is does this change if you get the sliding tailgate? Since you will be unable to remove and store the rear two sections, will there be enough head room with the sliding tailgate? Trying to decide between MIC and soft top

Sliding gate is under the floor.

Are you referring to the slide-out tray that is missing in the B&P? :p

Sliding "tailgate" sits about 4" above the floor, not below.
Huh. I thought I'd seen videos of it under. I wondered how they'd install them after the fact with delays.

I doubt it will have any effect on door/top storage.

Thanks. You beat! By a minute! Exactly. So still wondering how they'll install it later...?
My guess is that the whole part includes the tray inside of a new raised "floor". This will reduce the height from floor to top but I'd be surprised if it was so much that the stored doors would no longer fit. Looks like maybe 5" higher?

It is simply a box with a slide out tray in it. Drop it on top of the factory floor, bolt it down and you're done.

Unfortunately, you lose access to the storage under the factory floor with this accessory in place.

Yeah, saw pix with the storage under and wondered how they'd do both. I suspect you're right, it'll be either or.... Tho I thought the slider was standard....?

Do you like it as an option
I thought it seemed really cool but if it’s late availability I might pass

Do we have video of the storage compartment in the rear cargo area under the stock floor? Assuming that this area is used for the bottle jack etc.

I forgot about that... that changes my opinion on this option (at least how it is currently designed). Maybe a better solution will be available later where the entire section of floor can slide out opening up the storage under the factory floor (instead of having the raised floor blocking it.

I like it, but bet Ford will charge $$$ for it.

It's only going to be available for 4-door models and I'm getting a 2-door, so I will come up with my own solution. Still unsure if I'm going remove the rear seats or live with them folded down.
