My dealer couldn’t feel or hear the issue, so if it happens again they asked me to come back. It’s happening all the damn time…. Yet the one day they have the vehicle it wasn’t making much noise or vibrating. Frustrating.
Shit.

This has been my exact experience multiple times my friend.
The problem for me is that it truly is intermittent, so I can never say 100% that they are just being lazy clowns.

At this point, when mine returns from the shop (with nothing fixed) I am just going to pull the actuator myself and see what happens.

Getting real anxious for a vehicle that doesn't vibrate..

Hello, David! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this noise concern. Thanks!

You mean on top of the private message you asked me to send a few months ago? (after which I heard nothing?)

front Axle assembly? I thought your issue was resolved with just the actuator?

did they find something else wrong? Any info is super helpful and appreciated!

The actuator isn't sold separately, it's part of the front intermediate axle

I have the exact same issue! First thing I did was search these forums and found this thread. I took it to my dealer and explained the issue. I brought up the thread but they said oh yeah no need we understand the issue, its the actuator. It sounds like they've had this issue with F150's as well but typically it vibrates in 4H vs 2H. Either way, they ordered the front axel assembly and covered it under warranty!

Mines doing this as well. Constant from 56 to 64 then oscillating when driving mid 70s. Was going to pull the front DS but sounds like that's not the issue.

What dealership? That way I can get mine in touch with yours.

I started having this issue couple of days ago after offroading... Starts at about 12mp and drowns out/changes to a much less audible tune at 25mph.
Almost goes away entirely when I shift to 4A or 4H.
So dissapointing... it barely has 6200miles on it.
Anyone found a conclusive fix for this? I just called my dealer it's scheduled in for Monday...

Little update on mine. I installed a winch mount and 10k winch and the added weight dramatically reduced the vibration....

On my way home this evening I noticed a slight oscillating in the steering wheel at highway speeds.
Everyone that has had this issue, did it come on subtle and get much worse?
thank you
