Hello to all. Older retired guy here new to this site. But longtime owner of trucks and suvs.
I bought a 24 silver 2.7 liter wildtraks about 6 months ago. Love the color which is not offered in the 25 line. It's very well equipped with the sasquash pkg. I traded a very well equipped 250 super duty. Well hahaha I had no intention of buying till I test drove the vehicle. Loved it. Love the complete vehicle. Except for the 70+ sticker.
What i like. Well everything but the sound. There is no sound. So I recently put on a pricey borla s type axle back exhaust. Now the vehicle sounds as good as it looks.
Some things in my opinion should be standard equipment with the bronco. Trailer hitch. Fog lights.
I've added lots of functional add ons. like everyone. As for the tires. I've never been a big fan of Goodyear tires. Simply from a wear and noise stand point BUT I do like the territory 35s on the bronco. One thing I see is they don't release rocks well. But the wear and road noise is good. The wear is very good. I try keeping the air around 35 psi.
As for the roof. Love the black painted. I've had no issues. Ease of removal easy pesy.
One thing I'm not liking is the dash. With sunglare it can be bad. I'll address that with dealer comments.
Some closing comments. I think Ford has hit a homerun with the bronco and concept.
I've read some disturbing posts of people settling such as paint defects. I'm a firm believer of lists. If you buy new. That dealer needs to back that vehicle. Especially paint defects. Don't settle.

Missing the super duty yet? I kept mine vs buying a trailer. Mine is pretty old so no payment and I can’t see ever buying a pickup at modern pricing.
Likes, it’s been great fun so far. Hope it holds up long term, 10 years plus. 🤞

Dislike, the response lag time from touching the break to being allowed to place it into gear to drive sucks. It’s electric so it should be instant. It’s not 🙁. Still annoying after 21k.
All the warnings that pop up. Door open, in gear, seat belt Press ok. All these stupid nanny messages.

Yes days for a Lowes run i do miss the pickup. BUT what I missed was the fun vehicle. The bronco brings that back. I use to own a fj cruiser. Never should have traded it. Great vehicle. But the bronco makes me smile.

Don’t get me wrong…I Love mine, There are a couple things i’d like addressed though.

dislikes:

plastic bumpers and skid plates. I understand why they did it but you don’t need 3 different bumpers on non Braptor models. I feel the capable and modular should be the only ones. And at least metal skid plates. Either aluminum or steel.

Grab handles on roll bar
Shouldn’t have to buy those. While the dash ones are supplied it’s not a good place for a passenger to hold on to especially if you have long legs.

Better interior lighting:
everyone knows this one.

I agree I think rear bumper should be steel. As for the grab handle I put on those parachute cord type as a aid. I think they're rated for 300lbs. Not by me. They're only secured I believe with 8mm screws. But they're a good aid.

2024 WildTrak owner here as well. I know how you feel about your FJ. Used to own a Land Cruiser. Purchased new and traded her in w/160K miles on it. Still ran like the day I drove it off the lot, and all it asked of me were oil changes, brakes and tires. Regret ever getting rid of it.

As for the Bronco, I only have 8,500 miles on mine, and no issues so far. I love it.

Mods so far:
- Full body PPF (except for the roof)
- Tinted driver and front passenger windows
- Brush bar with spotlights
- Spot and flood lights in the modular bumper
- WeatherTech floor and cargo liner
- Mabett Rear seat back rubber protectors
- Storage system (from the Ford site) that hangs on the inside of the tailgate
- Mounted fire extinguisher
- Ford hitch receiver
- Ford Performance hood struts
- WeatherTech Mud flaps
- Stubby antenna
- Pinch weld covers
- Paracord grab handles (Agree they should have come with the vehicle)
- Molle door pockets over the netting
- Other miscellaneous interior stuff (TuffSkinz door sill protectors, center console arm rest storage tray, etc.)

Not much to gripe about, wish the wipers were better, hate the Start/stop (push the button every time), etc.

I didn't spring for the Lux package. At the time I thought the only thing I would miss is the heated steering wheel (still do) and didn't think it was worth the $3,500 up charge. In hindsight, miss the 360 cameras. Regret that decision, but that's on me.

Aside from that, I love my Bronco!

Good luck and enjoy!

Very nice. Just hit 9k on mine. Nothing to bitch about the list of dealer fixes is empty.
Some of the add-ons are
IAJ Push bar
Oracle 3 light fogs
Deflector shield hood deflector
16" antenna
Door pocket storage
Parachute grab handles
Husky all weather floor mats
BW Hitch
Borla S type axle back exhaust
Mud digger sasquash tire cover.
(Love it or hate it. No in betweens)
Just received underground graphics spear kit stripes (vinyl). Need to wait for warmer weather to install.
I'm a big fan of mickey Thompson tires. They'll be my next set. They have a hybrid mud and all terrain baja which is so awesome. Had them on my fj and got so many compliments.
Hahaha we do like spending $$$.

LOL. I was initially going to say that I didn't do much in the way of mods, but when I started listing them out, I realized that I did quite a bit. You even reminded me of a few more I forgot to list initially.

Got my 23OBX2.7Lux CAD 15 K discount in 24 they started stripping content and increasing prices.

I new what I was getting and that I'd have to dump $10K into parts that should have been there when new, upgrading sound, paint protection, extra winter wheels and tires.

Too many dealer visits at 5K miles though, not unlike my HPP Mustang.....

Very happy though would be nice to get decent bolster seats not sure wanna lose the seat airbags and spend $10K on RecaroC or 5 on some manual swaps plus upholstery in decent fabric...so far OE are working out thanks to fabric grippiness...
