It's a beauty mark.

If it was worse I would, but at the bottom of the door? That's not really noticeable at all. Give the tires time to chunk enough rocks & it'll go away.

My '24 luckily has no issues with main body panels. However, the roll bars are pretty badly finished and painted. Paint is fine in most places, I guess, but the metalwork is not smooth in all places. But, those roll bars also are rough anyway -- raw welds and other things that are "by design" so I just let it go.

I had just had a hell of a time getting a decent paint job for an accident repair on my Mustang. Had to send it back twice because there were bubbles, lifted edges, and tons of other defects. This was from a highly rated local repair shop with 40+ years of history that I've used before with no issues.

I would not trust any Ford dealer with paint work.

How the heck does stuff like this get past Quality Control? This is why humans won't be doing this job at all in the very near future. It's already pretty straightforward to use cameras and AI to detect anomalies like this. I'm surprised Ford isn't already doing that.

Yep. And then nobody will be able to afford a Bronco because AI took their job. And the whole thing will be moot.

Hey All

This is my 1st Ford -'25 Bronco in Marsh Gray, liking it so far but what is with this paint quality? Dealer said they will take a look when their specialist is there next week. Not sure how I feel about repainting panels etc on a brand new car.

WOuld you get this fixed?

The roll bar on my 2022 Carb Gray is full of fisheyes, but I decided to live with it instead of having the Ford dealer (likely) butcher the paint. Figured it would next to impossible to perfectly match the amount of flake and lay it the same way as the factory spray booth and that would forever bug me more.

Yeah, it sucks.... yeah, it shouldn't be there.... but lets keep some perspective. It's an off road truck, not a rolling piece of art. If it bothers you, get it fixed. I would not care one bit about it. I don't even know if my Bronco has any blemishes, because I haven't looked that close. 😂🤠

Nope. Same issue. Having it repainted is like playing Russian Roulette.

Ford build quality is garbage. Made in the USA means nothing.
Yep, you get overpaid union workers who don’t care about quality..so pretty much what made in the USA has always meant.

Imagine working year after year on assembly line hung over from weed or beer or weed on the job even bogged down with poor diet and fitness plus everything else......made in MX is way better at least the workers have community and care dearly about their job and support coworkers.

Just wanted to share a little more perspective on "quality control " from my experience in the auto manufacturing business. Paint is very important, very expensive and very costly to repair in a production process. With that being noted, the inspection standards are divided up into "zones or areas" based on location and visibility ( will most of the general public see it?) So the high visibility areas such as hood, top and middle of doors are have the higher level of inspection. Bottom door, rockerpanel, even the top of vehicle have less of inspection, meaning that it's not as likely to be repaired in the production process. Believe me, if inspectors could have it their way, nothing would ever make it out to the public for purchase...

I'm retired now, but I spent my professional life in manufacturing, managing all areas of production, automotive, heavy duty truck and even fire truck manufacturing, and paint quality is and always will be the most argued topic .
Sorry for the long and probably boring rant but I just wanted to share my thoughts. I've owned so many vehicles over the years, and every one had paint defects ( of course I looked for them) and none of them were ever repaired while I owned it, I just made a mental note and would imagine how much the defects were going to cause inspectors to " cringe " for having to "ok" the defects based on paint standards ... and then Enjoy the ride until it was no longer mine.

You might wanna consider removing your entire address from your profile display, for safety purposes. 🤠

I had a dust bubble on mine. decided not to fix as only I notice. the ones that look like rust and weird blotches I would definitely have them fix it.

damn this community is popping - thx for the feedback! Ill see what they suggest when i bring it in and take it from there. I agree with most comments in that its not really visible so who cares but at the price i just expected better and also, im concerned about corrosion coming out in a defective area longer term. We salt our roads like crazy here. Stay tuned

They will have to clear the whole door to fix it. Not worth breaking the factory paint in my opinion. The repair could end up being worse than the smell hardly noticeable defect. A Bronco would be considered popularly priced car today, and not many popularly priced cars are going to have perfect paint. If it was in the middle of the door or hood, that would be different.
