Sounds kind of like my house. I used have cabinets open all the time, lights flicker, and one bedroom in particular just feels off to be in. We had a guest stay in that room once and he refused to ever come to our house again after that night. There is some charring on the rafters directly above that room so something happened in the past.

We refer to this "entity" as Sanders. Everything stopped one night after we yelled at Sanders to knock it off. So yeah, I'm now certain there's something beyond our observable world.

Bonus content, I know a guy that claims to have encountered Bigfoot while hunting. He said the stench was like nothing he'd ever experienced. He also stopped hunting after that.

I'm sure I mentioned it in my earlier posts a year ago, but the one property (151 Analomink St.) was a known property for paranormal activities with books written on it. The ghost was Beattie and it was believed she met her tragic death on the staircase. It was often when all my roommates would be in the living room and we would hear loud "footfalls" on the staircase and an overall ruckus. We would just yell to Beattie to knock it off or quiet down and the noise would stop.

I also have had a Sasquatch/Bigfoot encounter as I relayed earlier in the thread. I can guarantee the 20-30lb rocks are still were they lay on the family's homestead after being thrown at me.

Anyone else been awakened consistently between 2:50 and 3:05 lately?
I have been for like 2 weeks and having some insanely realistic vivid dreams.
It's not one of those "wake up and stay up" things.
More like an "I wonder what time it is...oh, *back to snoozing"

Great thread that I read through this morning after it was referred to us in the Photo challenge thread after I posted my haunted site photo challenge. Thanks @KABQ .
First one. I was very close to my Grandparents (mom's parents) and was always told I was their favorite. I was at both of their bedsides when they passed almost 10 yrs apart. In my late teens/early 20s I would often be at home alone weeks at a time as my parents would be gone on trips. One night during one of those trips, I woke up to 2 figures standing over me at the foot of the bed. I recognized them as my Granny and Pawpaw and without hesitation, I said I love you. I feel back to sleep and to this day have not seen them again some 30 years since.
Second story: We bought the house we live in now about 4 years ago when our son started kindergarten. Nice 2 story colonial style house with a beautiful staircase with balcony landing at top over looking foyer. Yep you guessed it....sounds of someone descending the stairs can be heard at various times of the day. Also the floor in the master bedroom creaks, due to nails backing out I'm sure, but both me and my wife have heard the floor creak and no one be there. I have also woken up to seeing our bedroom door moving as to be closed only to stop when I rise my head or sit up in bed.
We refer to our ghost as Charlie and think nothing of it anymore. Occasionally our daughter, who is 6, will remind us that Charlie is a girl when we refer to her as a boy and randomly state where Charlie is in the house and what she is doing. Ie "Charlie is in my room playing." "Charlie is beside me at the table with us." We ask her from time to time if she can see Charlie and see says she's does sometimes. Not sure to chalk it up to her very active imagination or of if she really does see Charlie.

Not lately, but...

Years ago, when I was 6 months pregnant, I woke up suddenly, wide awake as if I had suddenly been jolted awake with an injection of hardcore stimulants. It was so abnormal that I noted the time.

The next day my parents called to tell me that my grandmother had passed away overnight... Her time of death had been EXACTLY to the minute the moment I had been startled awake in the middle of the night.

Can't say why, but like to think she decided to be reincarnated as my son.

In California the spiders know to crawl up high on the walls the day before an earthquake, and everywhere the furry animals somehow grow the right amount of extra fur many, many weeks before it actually gets cold based on how cold it will be getting.

The premise of this thread originated when another alluded to a sasquatch experience. So on a Saturday night, I'll convey my own.

My encounter occurred at the family homestead in the Endless Mountains of PA. Our actual property consists of 200 acres consisting of dense woods and waterfalls with only about 5 acres cleared. There were a number unexplained noises that we would hear especially at dusk and night. It was common to hear howls that were not coyote and rhythmic wood knocking that would echo through the woods.

For the most part, we (kids) never ventured into the woods too far, but we did play down at the waterfalls. Most were only 20', but a few were huge (40'+) including one that you could crawl behind the waterfall and look out through the cascade while staying dry. The first upper fall was maybe 80 yards from the house.

I was in kindergarten (late 70's) and was out of school in the afternoon. My sisters were in school and my father was at work. My mother was hanging clothes on the line while I ventured off to the first upper fall looking for crawfish and salamanders. My back was towards the house and across the water was a steep hill that crested with a ridge about 15 yards away from the water. With my attention focused looking for critters, I heard and felt (ground concussion) a large rock (20 lb.) striking the ground near me. It didn't roll. Based on the trajectory, it came from the ridgeline and was thrown. Immediately, I looked up (frightened and mad) scanning for some prankster. No other noises and nothing seen. I'm still frightened but went back to looking for critters. But I was more focused on my surroundings (sight/sound) than focused on critters. It was then when another larger rock landed closer than the previous one. Immediately, I looked up to the ridgeline but my assailant wasn't seen.

I ran the fastest 80 yards back to the house where my mother was still hanging clothes. So either it was a sasquatch throwing rocks or it was Max.
