not at all... but I have been built since August 16th... with a soft top... I would much rather have it in my garage... then sitting there

most of us in the built and waiting category with soft tops are not included in the airbag recall... at least not according to ford's recall website

There is another thread discussing the reliability of the 2.7l. Basically a bad batch of valves from April are the problem. Ford engine plant worker confirmed. Already two known engine failures on the forum. If your engine was built in April it probably is sitting waiting to be replaced. I do not think Ford wants to put out that information.

dealer knows nothing... tracker has been the same since August... no communication from Ford whatsoever

At least this explains why I haven't heard a thing about my two door 2.7L. Shame this info has to come from a forum and not Ford.
