Well, it’s official. My dealer said NO to honoring my price protection. We’ll give it one more go once we are there and ask them to contact the zone rep. I doubt that’s going to do any good at this point, though.
I already told them that once the purchase with the Bronco is done, we won’t return. They asked why they’d lose us over just $1,300, and I asked them why they’d be WILLING to lose us over $1,300. Our business in the future years is worth more than the $1,300 is now. The $1,300 isn’t a lot of money, but you can’t put a price on trust.
