7/24 Reservation. I'm hanging in there for now, but, I am really starting to take a long, serious look into my backup plan at this point.

IM DONE. I’ll scoop a used bronco within 2 years for half the cost. Peace and love
If you can buy Broncos (under 100k miles) for 50% of MSRP by Summer ‘23 I will buy a second one without hesitation...

No disrespect intended but I just don’t think that will be happening. I don’t think this logic even applies to used Wranglers which don’t have the supply constraints or “new-factor” that the Bronco will.

So I feel the heat before I even start to post this....I had a Wildtrack July 13th 10:30pm res date. Day of 2 hours after launch. I was dead serious about it until I started to look at what 60k could buy me. I won’t post the lost of alternative vehicles but it’s long. Currently have a <24 payments left on my 2018 Tundra, but....this is a huge but....after it all sorted out, Ford was not offering me what I wanted. I wanted Marine seats, floor drains, SasQ, LED lights, and some other misc things. I built 35 versions of what I want and it’s not worth paying 50-60k and still have items missing. Yes after market items, but comes back to why the F can’t I get what I want from Ford directly? Also No green, No X-Plan, no white accents. so IM DONE. I’ll scoop a used bronco within 2 years for half the cost. Peace and love
Good luck man. But half the cost is a pipe dream lol.

This is going to be Ford's flagship SUV. It's gotta be right from the get go. I have no problem with them spending the time to get it right. Tough as nails reputation will trickle down to their other models.

Had July 14 and Oct 1 reservations. Cancelled both. Between the constraints of packages to get what I wanted, the awful interior color accents (blue interior accents in a CO or red BD?) and the price creep, I just couldn’t do it.

Happened across a Wrangler that fit everything i wanted, (limited build, less than 20) so I jumped on it. Saves me from buying new accessories as the ones I have fit. Also got a white top. I don’t see Ford’s promised future white top on any model for less than $50k.

Still come visit this forum for the drama though!

Nice to see all the cheerleader responses on here but who with a reasonable level of common sense would take delivery on a 1st year production 2021 model in what now looks like the 4th quarter at best. Hell, Ford still has there head in their ass with the BP details.

Congrats, you all moved up in the reservation pecking order (7/17 reservation). I wouldn't touch a 2021 Bronco with a 10 foot pole.

A purpose built, removable top/door truck with what appears to be a highly restrictive GVWR strangling the top spec trims is NEVER going to be Ford’s flagship SUV. If Ford manages to turn Bronco into a “sub” brand then sure the big Bronco will be the flagship but also consider the Sport is NOT being delayed. At all. Yes it’s a reimagination of an escape but it’s still not the “flagship” and its being prioritized over the big Bronco.

And no one knows what the resale value will be until there ARE resales. We know what Jeeps will bring because they’ve been made for 80yrs uninterrupted.

Point is anyone claiming anything at this point is all speculation (good/bad, for/against, stay/leave).

But the reality is at this point all Ford has done is delay, and take things away from reservation holders. The only “new” thing available for reservation holders is the black interior for FE. Everything else has been “look at this cool stuff you can’t buy” and “sorry we have to move this one cool thing you COULD buy back because COVID.”

The trend vector here is going the wrong way.

Hope you get it by Xmas!
My bday is late September. Libra season. I turn 35. I'm hoping its a bday gift for me.
To achieve that, I may have to forego the late delivery items and just get them when they're available (for astronomical cost and installation, im sure)
Morning 7/15 res here

July 14th res here. I have and am still considering cancelling. Before the latest delays, I was optimistic I would have it by July. Now, I suspect it will be September at the earliest and I would not be surprised if there are further delays as COVID is wrecking a lot of manufacturing.
My reasons for considering canceling are there are just so many things I was hoping to do with the Bronco over the summer and fall and I was thinking maybe I go with a used 4runner for a year or two. Then maybe pick up a MY2022/23 Bronco. I am still leaning heavily towards waiting it out, but I am going to wait until orders open before I make any further decisions.
