Price Protection Confusion

Price protection: I paid $100 in Aug. 2020 to reserve: I converted to order in April 2021. Is Ford going off reservation date or order date. I can't seem to find a concrete answer. Side note, my 2021 order was then converted to the 2022 in Oct. 2021. I still have no build date. Any feedback would be great appreciated!

either date you reserved or converted reservation into order according to the ford website.
