Did you ever get this resolved? I was able to locate the $975 certificate number for the MY2021 to MY2022 price increase, but I can't locate a certificate for the $2000 MY2022
How did you find the $975 certificate?

I called the Bronco hotline and they were able to locate the certificate and give me the number.

Do you know if it was in the Smart Vincent platform that has been mentioned or some other? The reason I ask is that I called about something else before related to that system and the rep didn't know what I was talking about

I posted this in another thread.

The MY21 to MY22 price protection is simple. There's a certificate code in the Vincent system that dealer can access.

MY22 to MY22.5 price protection is different. We just picked up our new BB last week. We were not eligible of course for the MY21-22 protection, we ordered a '22 in Dec of '21.

As for the MY22-22.5 increase, our dealer honored the original buyer's order (the sticker price of our '22 BB) our actual window sticker was $1500 exactly higher than our original MSRP (2 dr BB).

They told me the price protection is credited to the dealer 30-45 days AFTER the sale goes into the Ford system. The customer that buys the Bronco has to MATCH the name that ORDERED the Bronco. Then that amount is credited to the dealership, who then sends along to the customer.

It was explained to me that this process was designed to keep dealer's from 'double-dipping'. In other words a customer orders a Bronco, it comes in, either the buyer backs out or the dealer buys them out (I've personally witnessed this) of the order and then sells the Bronco on their lot for $5-15K ADM. THEN after the sale, the dealer would try to get that price protection back as well.

It's supposed to show up as a rebate to the dealer under your name in their system. I don't think it comes directly from Ford.

There is no certificate for price protection for 22’ model year. If you don’t change you order and take delivery of it as a 22’ model you are price protected. Have that statement from Ford printed out and show it to them when you go to buy it. It clearly states it.

This is consistent with what I was told. Working on closing the deal for my Bronco (Black Diamond) now.

$975 (initial '22 price increase) applied as a rebate on the initial deal. But still taxed on the amount before the rebate, I believe.

The additional $1500 ('22.5 price increase) is something I have to pay now, then get reimbursed by the dealership 30-45 days later, after the dealer settles with Ford.

I am a Jan 2021 reservation holder. I am going to pick my Badlands up tomorrow Friday April 1, 2022. Having pricing issues. The sticker price says 46590 for the base price. When I ordered in November the order base price was 444840. 46590-44840=1750 - 825 Certificate= 925. Who pays this $925 price difference under price protection? Ford Bronco Customer Service says all they pay is the $825 for the certificate and the dealer says they do not pay the difference that Ford does. Any information would be appreciated.
So I know this is different. But I ordered 2 OBX/BD (one for me - one for my wife) and got two certificates, but the second has be declined in Vincent. I asked Ford CR and they gave me the second number and said it should work and they know of no reason why it would not. I asked dealer again and they called the rep. Rep told them one per household . I went back through all the emails to the original from Mark Grueber and subsequent emails and went to the Ford website and checked and rechecked....no mention of any limit- simply that any reservation holder for a 2021 (I ordered both in 2020) would get protection. Apparently there is a "Rule of 10" that applies to rebates being listed to 10 per household and Ford has now changed it to 1 for this program. I can understand that the don't want to reward people who are flipping these, but I am keeping both and have waited almost two years - I'll just say that I agree with their CR people and dealer "that is not right"

Anyone run into issues due to switching models (before the price protection cutoff went into effect)?

For example, originally reserved an Outer Banks July '20 but then switching to Wildtrak Aug '21. And now being told the price protection certificate will only be credited the value of OBX?

Seems to me like my Wildtrak price should be protected.

The price protection certificate is issued based on what you had on order as of March 19, 2021. This has been well communicated.

Check my thread "Price Protection Refresher needed" under this sub-forum. While my initial price protection numbers are different i am having the same problem. Dealer is not honoring MY2022.5 price protection.

The discussion does a good job explaining it for early reservation/order holders. @RagnarKon explains most of this well.

I don’t believe this is true. I was day 2 reservation and got email from Ford saying my price is protected due to reservation.
I placed my official order on 2/28/22 and went from a BL on res to a BD on order. Ford support gave me my price protection numbers over the phone.
Haven’t taken delivery yet, but don’t foresee an issue as I have the ford info and my dealers quote to me was the lower msrp.
