The only thing I had to get some weight on the bolts. Everything else was small hand size tools.
What would you recommend to use?
It's typically never recommended to use a torque wrench to break bolts free, or back them out whatsoever. This will slowly but surely throw the calibration of the wrench off. Use a breaker bar for breaking bolts free, and a ratchet to back them out.

"The actual "Click" from a wrench is considered a "Cycle" of that wrench. Most manufacturers recommend click-style torque wrench calibration after 5000-to-7000 cycles.
For most customers, this means you should calibrate and test torque wrenches every 12 months. "

I use my torque wrench once every 12 months. :)

Thanks for posting - any link to share on the proper set? Likely should buy one now…

Edit: Disregard; I came across another post by you with the set (I’m not a stalker, I swear).

I just ordered the Neiko set now. Appreciate it!

Edit #2:

Here’s a side by side comparison, for reference:

Does the set shown cover all of the sizes needed and what are the sizes that we need? Thanks.

The size for the rash ring bolts is tp-40. The others for the roof and bronco bolts are included in the tool kit that comes with your bronco.

Sorry I derailed your thread a bit, I honestly am happy to know how to get these off now. I don't think I have any torx plus and wouldn't of started with one. 😆

I do like adding tools to my collection, and I’m definitely not a expert as you can see.

hey that is why I post it here, because I have learned a lot from the people on this forum. And I’m still learning! I appreciate the comments and camaraderie.

Ive had a tire and wheel guy strip the thread in my lugs with improper Impact driver usage.
Figure I will always play it safe.
I am not talking about a Snap-on 3/4, you can look at getting a 1/4 socket impact something that isnt going to send the bolt through the tire :) You can also add in a torque extension to manage it.
