This is one of those features that depends a lot on the execution (and the option to turn it off). Works well on my wife's vehicle, but I don't have it on mine.

Part of me says I don't want it on the Bronco, because I'd be disappointed if it didn't work well or couldn't be turned off.

On the other hand, I get irritated every time I see a feature on the Sport missing from the Bronco. (Looking at you rubberized seat back.)

if you live in the pacific northwest or other area where you get small showers for a few seconds then nothing for a few mi nute or two then more its a must have feature. Its a pain tuning off and on non sensing wipers under these conditions.
Yours are smarter than the ones in the VW. I want to rip the damn things out.

Only reason I can see this as being a "Must Have" feature is so that you can clearly see the wreck your auto pilot is driving you into...

Will this feature be able to sense and appropriately react to sand, debris, bottle rockets and other airborn projectiles when I am racing in the Baja 1000?

My experiance is they do nothing for rocks sand and other windborn debris. Wonder how they will do in mud rain? I have seen that once or twice.

Your right they work much better than the ones on my VW TDI. Much more accurate with exceptoional speed correction as percipitation changes in value much to my surprise after the VW. The VW system worked well but it would get confused. Bought the jeep with the money from the buy back and $8 grand more.

Still can't find a definitive answer whether the Bronco will come with rain sensing wipers.

No, I won't cancel my order if it doesn't come with the feature, but wondering if any of the Bronco Gurus out there can shed some new light on this wet topic ....

Meh, we get an average of about 4 inches of rain per year. I don't mind manually turning on the wipers 2-3 times a year.

My Tesla has the most useless automatic wipers ever. Even in the wet PNW I preferred to toggle them myself. I had other cars that were decent.

On my 2012 gold TDI they worked fine

chuckle...funny thanks for the laugh. So your saying you would rather wear blinders to pending dangers around you? Surprisingly if you think about it, most people do that to some extent.

What i found was it is only available on the sport and only in one trim package the Outer Banks. Would work for me but i'm not interested in a four door station wagon just want a small 2dr like my 68 was.

Let's be happy we don't have to reach up and hand crank them back and forth LOL or like my 55 Chevy lift off the gas to get them to wipe 😉 loved those vacuum wipers 😂
