Rear TracBar Relocation Bracket - Get One!

So it does not fit? I'm assuming since the holes don't line up for the bottom bolt. I always thought RJ had the same one for the Regular Bronco and for the BRaptor. Guess not . ......BUT WAIT.....is it a RAPTOR you have or a BRONCO Raptor? they are totally different vehicles. I just noticed your signature says "GEN 2" (soooo....seeing as there is no Gen 2 Bronco yet....).

Crummy. Must be the axle length and why Ford changed the placement of the bolt holes.

Isn't the Braptor a wider track vs the regular Bronco? Maybe that's why the rear is different. It looks like there is plenty or material to drill a new hole in the bracket though. You would probably want to make sure the bracket is at the correct angle before trying that.

Installed the RJ relocation bracket this afternoon. I’ll take it for a spin tomorrow to see how it drives. Time will tell if the bracket contacts the frame while wheeling (Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 HD coilovers)

I’m contemplating swapping the relocation bracket for an adjustable track bar instead to avoid the frame contact possibility. Any track bar recommendations?

An adjustable track bar doesn’t do the same thing as the relocation bracket which corrects the geometry. Adjustable track bar is used to center the differential, it does nothing for the geometry.

That being said, you must really have the adjusters cranked way up for your track bar to be at that much angle still. Too much lift in the front will be hard on your CV’s and steering, just an FYI.

An adjustable track bar doesn’t do the same thing as the relocation bracket which corrects the geometry. Adjustable track bar is used to center the differential, it does nothing for the geometry.

That being said, you must really have the adjusters cranked way up for your track bar to be at that much angle still. Too much lift in the front will be hard on your CV’s and steering, just an FYI.

I’ve had the RJ relocation bracket on my bench all summer, but recently swapped my suspension from FOX coil overs to the Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 HD coils. Long story, blew up one of my FOX coils about 500 yards from the top of Engineer Pass in southern CO. I purchased the RJ relocation bracket long before I made the switch to Eibach. Hence my concern that the RJ bracket may contact the frame. My logic around swapping the relocation bracket for an adjustable track bar is that it may be my best choice without having to worry about smashing the bracket at full stuff.
Oh yes I agree, my truck is sitting high right now. These are the factory settings from Eibach and they tower above my 37’s. I plan to drive it back and forth to work a few days and then crank them down a bit. This way it may settle a bit first. 100% agreed on the CV’s.

Forum fuax pas for this next part, I know this is a track bar bracket thread…it happens.

Honestly I’m surprised how much preload these Pro Truck 2.0 coils have from the factory. These are the maximums in the instructions.

84mm front / 148mm rear. Out of the box mine were set at 82mm front / 128mm rear. Rough measurements put my front fender flare 7” above the tire and the rear 8”.

My Bronco is a 2D / 37’s lots of armor plus water / aux fuel / drawer system / cooler full of beers / camping gear, etc. My Green lady is a bit of a pig.

The ability to adjust the preload in these coils (when installed) and get an HD spring kit from the factory is why I went with Eibach this time around. Hard to see because perspective is misleading but these are my CV’s sitting flat. So they definitely can come down a bit.

I still need to reinstall the LCA armor and source some different lower shock skids that fit the Eibach’s. I’m told that the DV8 rear shock skids fit. I also spoke to RCI today at the overland Expo. I’m hoping they can send me some measurements to guesstimate if their lower shock skids might fit. Hitting that 350 foot pound torque on the lower shock bolt was a bear, so I don’t want to do it again “twice” if I don’t have to again soon.

I returned my RJ bracket right after receiving it, when I realized the compressed shock length was not ideal with the Eibachs... but I've been on the fence about re-ordering lately. I experience some excessive movement I don't like under certain situations that I am curious if it will help correct. For example, when I am passing someone and crest the center high point in the road, the Bronco wiggles kind of alarmingly as it shifts it's weight. It's great in every other scenario but I am wondering if correcting the geometry in the rear will aid in reducing this strange sensation.

Might just be something to live with, with a higher center of gravity and "softer" suspension but it just feels off with this scenario.

The RJ bracket helped reduce that "floating" sensation on my 2 door Sas on 37's. It sounds like you need the bracket.

I’ve had the RJ bracket for a while, added soon after adding my ADS setup. I’ve had some noise coming from the rear ADS coil over, which ADS thought either the upper/lower coils were out of sync or I needed an adjustable track bar. I took it to a local shop and they ordered new 350# upper coils, currently have 300# upper/400#lower coils, and AGM sliders/dividers. They said the upper coils were too compressed with my weight, but the bottoms were good. I have about 2.25” of preload in the rear. The shop disagreed that the noise was due to .25” misalignment and that the track bar would resolve. It was more likely due to the pre-load/needing a heavier spring/better divider. They did recommend Rock Krawler though for any future upgrades.

Though I was informed it wasn’t required, as I was only shifted to the driver .25” , my OCD kicked in… Rock Krawler had a nice Labor Day sale and no tax, so I snagged their adj. track bar too. It’s super stout! I can notice a slight improvement in tracking/handling over just the RJ bracket. Noise is still there, as the shop predicted. Awaiting my other parts to come in….
