Removing kick panel plastic to install new speakers

Hi all, sorry if this has been covered, i searched and couln‘t find anything…I’m trying to remove the plastic covering on the drivers side to install new speakers in the kick panel. had no problem on the passenger side. Any tips?

You have to remove the cover from the foot rest, unscrew 2 nuts, then that whole panel, including the footrest part comes out.

There is 2 nuts behind the Dead pedal
Part of the plastic you can pop off

I have yet to pop this panel out myself but have this video saved for the day. Check at 10:25.
