I read something a while back that they were claiming 190k as well. Maybe the 500k is all reservations including the sport and Mach E?
You may be onto something, the Bronco Specialist did mention the Mach-E in the conversation and how well the roll out was going as compared to the BroncoProbably all the possible reservation vehicles. Both bronco types, mach-e, and whatever else you can reserve. Thats a lot! But then again didnt tesla have that many for the model 3 or something?
How many people have two reservations and will cancel at least one?At the off road show last weekend I asked the Rep about reservations. He said there were 300K for the Bronco. I told him I consistently hear numbers around 195K but he was adamant it was 300K.
What do you think non 6g members are thinking? When I first joined I thought this may be a good representation of all res holders as far as polls and such go. The more I have been on here the more I realize that information here is not what others may know. I have a friend with a reservation and I have been updating him and told him about this site. He still hasn't checked it out. So are the uninformed more likely to keep or get rid of their reservation? The only way I knew about Dec 7th was from this forum. I I would have just been wondering monthly when I would be contacted about ordering from my dealer. That is now my old dealer and I am not sure if I would have known to shop dealers. By logging in here I saved $3000.190k was the number I was told. I used to be in the 60-70% conversion camp but once the gen pop finds out about the latest time table delay and all the late availability items I think 50% is more realistic.
I'm guessing many did that with only a $100 deposit. I'm sure some were tires kickers and when it comes time to place their orders they'll cancel. Now add in delays and I'm guess there will be a few more that cancel. How many people have two reservations and will cancel at least one?
Oh really? Unfortunately, "deleted member" owned the spreadsheet that kept track of our contacts and call log so I don't have access to it anymore. However, this Bronco specialist you speak of would have had to be the GM or GSM to have any direct contact with the group. I do remember BT being eliminated pretty early as not being interested. Then he started telling me why their dealership had choosen not to participate in the Texas buyers group and the conversation he had with one of our members who worked on the outreach and negotiations.
Mmmm, I’m confused butSo I visited a local dealer today to look at the Bronco Sport, as I talked to the Bronco Specialist, of course discussing Bronco6g and Ford. He was telling me about a recent call they had with their Ford rep, he makes an off hand remark that Ford has 500,000 reservations ?
Now, do I believe that, no. Was the number for both Bronco and Bronco Sport, most likely. So then I ask him what he thinks the conversion percentage would be, he did not think the Ford 70% was real but maybe 50% as he said he has never seen a vehicle with so much buzz in his 20 years in the business.
So has anyone heard any numbers from your dealers?
He had director at the back of his title but not GM or GSM, maybe he was retelling the story second handOh really? I believe it.there aren't 300,000 people who know Bronco Sport even exists

But isn't the last number we got in print 185k or something like that? Which was mid-August I think? That was four months ago. I know it would have been a flood of reservations in the first few weeks but with a few ad campaigns, a few more videos, reviews of the Sport, etc. it stands to reason that more would come in.
No one should worry though. Most of us are ahead of those reservations and I can only imagine that there will be a ton of cancellations.
If you saw a Bronco commercial three weeks ago and said "hey that's cool" and picked up a reservation you'd have no idea that it will likely be a year plus before you can even think of getting a Bronco. Lots of reservees will not wait at all.
Don't laugh but we could be getting ours then with all these delays. ?Reserve yours today and take delivery in 2025
