I’m running Baja Designs in an LOD bumper. I have them running off of an aux switch, but would be easy to run them off the reverse light circuit.

Ahhh gotcha. In that case, I'll probably have mine installed before you (likely later this week or weekend). Which size Diode lights did you get?
Gods willing it will be close. It's a scant 10 miles from port to dealer. I'm preparing animal sacrifices just in case.

Pretty sure it's the SSC2. I got them for Christmas and only pulled them out briefly.

Diode Dynamics SSC1’s wired with DD’s reverse light harness that usually comes with their full reverse kit. I didn’t like the look of them mounted on the spare so I drilled mounting holes in the bumper instead. Comes on white in reverse and can be flipped on anytime with an aux switch. Only issue is the harness doesn’t have much slack to set them apart wider, butI like the look.

also this is with the curt hitch. Not sure if they will work in this spot with the factory tow pkg. i just barely clear the hitch pin and have not yet installed a trailer wiring harness since I really haven’t had any use for the hitch anyway.

Anyone have some good build pictures of where they put cube lights as additional reverse lights?

My initial thought was under the rear bumper next to the shackles but now I’m worried about ground clearance with them after thinking about it.

Would love to see some ideas!

This so awesome. I haven’t added trailer lighting either. Just tow my Jon boat mainly and in SC you don’t need trailer lights if you can see the taillights.

This should probably work well for you then. I just followed the directions for DD’s reverse kit but instead of running the wiring to the tailgate i fed it back up through the bottom of the trunk storage tray and ran the aux wire under the cargo floor to the factory aux wire behind the passenger side cargo panel.
Bonus feature is flipping them on when someone is behind you blinding you with their high beams. Its worked so far!

That’s about 80% of the reason I want them

How did you attach this? Is it a Rough Country light?
Yes - Rough Country Black series.

Mounted with a pair of open end lug nuts that I tapped with a 12x1.5 die to accommodate a M12 to M8 sleeve. I then used a pair of L brackets to attach the bracket to the lug nut with an M8 bolt and then the RC provided hardware to attach the light to the L bracket.

Wiring is through the rear tailgate to the Aux wire behind the rear passenger cargo cover, cross connected to the wire under the dash and finally supplied power by Aux #6. It would be easier to just run a single wire along the frame to the Aux wire as I did for power to the hitch connector.

Happy to make you a set of the mounts for a nominal fee to cover my costs + shipping. Let me know.

BTW - this was my solution for the front —> https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...alled-in-mod-heavy-duty-modular-bumper.28083/

Thanks for the info. Will let you know about making me one. I figured you had to do something custom, as I've done a lot of research on spare tire mounts for lights, and yours is very unique.
