Anyone have some good build pictures of where they put cube lights as additional reverse lights?

My initial thought was under the rear bumper next to the shackles but now I’m worried about ground clearance with them after thinking about it.

Would love to see some ideas!

My plan currently is to do them where the 3rd/4th links are installed. Just wondering if ground clearance will be an issue
Clearance may be a slight issue......depends on what sort of off-roading you plan on doing. If you're also planning on using the reverse lights as chase lights (by adding a yellow/amber cover to them), then you don't want them down low below the bumper. They really should be up higher where more visible (i.e. at the spare tire level or above).

Most of my off-roading is hunting related, I don’t do any rock crawling or anything. I also added D-rings on the back on both sides where the tow hooks were so they might sit even with them which would help. I don’t even know what chase lights are lol

Then I'd say you're all good with putting them down lower next to the D-rings like you mention.

I have the first one also.
Nice! Can you share some completion pics? I have the SC2s for mine, and am a little afraid they may be too big and should have got the SC1s.

Which bumper do you have? The first pic looks like a plastic bumper, but the second pic looks like a steel bumper.
It's a HAVOC Steel Bender rear bumper. It's a good deal at only $500, but it's a pretty thin walled. My exhaust tips bent it on a hit which must be where the Bender name comes from.

6 ss1’s in the rear bumper and a pair of ss3’s on the diode spare tire bracket.
Red back lights are on with parking lights. 2 switches, one for the ss1 and one for the ss3. Allows no activation, reverse trigger, and constant on.

Yeah, gimme a few days. The rig just got off the train and isn't at the dealer yet. :D But it'll be one of the first things I put on. After the steps so the wife can actually get in...

Ahhh gotcha. In that case, I'll probably have mine installed before you (likely later this week or weekend). Which size Diode lights did you get?
