Yep, the cutoff switch will be key for sure.Very nice - great pics! But, in terms of your comment that "it will only take once for you to realize what that feels like" I can go on the recored right now saying that it IS going to happen multiple times to people in my family, and maybe even me. Wish I could say it won't, but I am a realist...
In fact, this just made me realize that I am going to have to remember to use the "off" switch when I am working under the truck because someone will come out of the house and open a door and crunch my legs, sure as anything...
My suggestion on the magnet placement is to use tape on each side of the door jam sensor And have it run down the side of the truck. Closing the door will allow you to match the tape on the outside of the door itself and then rolling it up under the door sill. Pics on instructions show the vertical placement fairly well. After taking 40 minutes and multiple fuse pulling events to “reset” the system and my sanity I had this epiphany
